No, I've got the battery out to clean up my battery terminals etc, so i've done it from the battery out of the bike. I'll try again in a day or so when I have a chance from the bike see if it makes a difference.

Thanks for the pic, veracocha. Exactly how i've just tested them. Both with and without the controller. You're right, the gloves do still seem to work, and the jacket seems to go through the 3 heat settings when I change it on the jackets controller. Had it running for 5 minutes in a chilly room. The gloves got quite hot at medium and felt uncomfortable at high. As I would expect. The Jacket, I think my dogs breath is warmer than the jackets hottest setting. Must be faulty. No way that the highest heat setting is barely noticeable. So think i'll take it in to J&S and see if it needs replacing.

The jackets have cables at the arm ends /wrists, which can plug into the gloves. The issue is that if I were plug the gloves into that, supposedly using the Controller (on the jacket) would cancel itself out with the gloves own controllers and neither would control anything. I saw the 3 way coax splitter, but that is assuming I want the whole Y-Cable for the gloves ALSO going all over me, when the jacket itself has connections for gloves. This exact jacket and gloves? With gloves connected to the jackets arm connections, not using the full Y-cable with the gloves? Finally got a reply from Keis and they confirm what I fear - which is they don't work together and I have to have it all separate. Contradicting what you have said verachocha. So either yours is different, or they dont know their products ;D Completely pointless though. Looks like I'll need to try a return.

So I bought these heated clothes, but I’ve not been able to find information about using them together anywhere specifically for what I’m worried about. ive not used them yet as I’ll probably return them depending on how they work. The jacket has the power controller with it, but the manuals say DONT use it with gloves… as they have their own. But.. that would mean having two power leads from the bike.. and having to use the Y cable for gloves… or the jacket at full temp all the time. Is this right? Seems absolutely ridiculous to me. So much for being all integrated together. I've emailed Keis but no response so far after 2 days. Does anyone here know ?

I've had this since around 2018. Only got used for a few months, as I sold the bike I had, and it wouldn't fit either that i've had since. It was put away late 2019 and been in its bag since. Bit rusty in areas, but works ok as is. Has holes in floor metal to bolt to floor which it would work better with. Dimensions of bike it should take: Height 4 FT (this is the access height, the actual hide is a bit taller, but can't get a bike in that tall.) Width 3 FT Length 6 FT Would fit lower bikes, no adventure style at all. Pick Up Only - as i'm not taking it down. Being chucked in the next couple of weeks if no sale.

Ordered touring screen for tiger in vague hope it fits and if not hoping that I can return it. Was coming by FedEx, no sign of it for 2 days after its due. Third day, get an email delivery attempted. Parcel not delivered. Someone was home, so know that no delivery was attempted. 40 mins later, another email saying it has been delivered... EH? Check later on for proof of delivery, an unknown name signed it. No one known on the street by the name. With no other proof like house number, signature, picture. Nothing. Report the issue of non-delivery to website I bought from who gets hold of a DIFFERENT proof of delivery from FedEx. Supposedly delivered next door, but name doesn't match and they haven't received anything. Back and forth we go. Hope they have GPS to find it.

Attempted fitting a scottoiler. Given up until their support can help. Bike out of action unless I want to waste a load of scottoil trying to remove it all until they do reply. Absolute nightmare.

Cheers all, I got them fitted, just about where I like them. I just had to tighten one side more, move them to be able to reach the other side and tighten that up completely. And leave as is. It's comfortable. Taking what you've all said on board, i'll just need some spanners now as well I guess. I got one of the advanced kits (Halford Advanced 100PC Socket Set) from Halfords with the hex/sockets/etc. It is fine for most, just nothing tiny enough for that gap with the risers. And no spanners in the set. It was on offer at the time, about 40% off so was a no brainer I jumped for it. ? It did have hex with the risers, exactly the same as the ones already on the bike essentially. Just can't reach into them when the riser is actually above the... original part it is rising. Anyhow, sorted now. Spanner buying time. After new chain, sprockets at the garage, and helmet.

That is what I thought but even if the risers were directly inline with original , the bolt hole on riser isn't actually directly inline with main bolt hole. The riser instructions say tighten one side as much as you can until you cant anymore without it moving. Then move to place and tighten other side. Which sort of works, however isn't in the exact spot i'd like them. So i'll see how we go with them. However on turning full lock left, The throttle line looks to be being taken to its full length. Not stressed/pulled on as such, but defo at the end of its run. Will have to keep an eye on it, not sure of the option with that.

So, I’m attempting to install some bar risers. However the issue I’m having is , I can’t tighten the bolts holding the risers themselves (the original handle bars bits) them once on. As the bolts are covered by the riser… if I tighten either side a lot it doesn’t move (naturally) to then be able to tighten the other side. am I missing something here, am I really that thick? The gap between riser and top of the bolts when in place is about 3 cm.

£190 a year ?? I'll take that any day thanks. Mine is nearer £1000. Hoping that after the first year it'll come down a good amount. But not holding my breath.
