  3. From my limited knowledge perhaps you've blown the bulb. More chance of that if you didn't disconnect the battery. Other than that have checked for corrosion on the connectors? Dave
  4. Have a look on Chinese motorcycle parts online. They sell pretty much everything you need to rebuild a Chinese bike. Just enter your model number. Dave
  5. Have you checked that the fuel lines aren't cracked or split?
  6. Cheers for the heads up, everyday is a school day as they say. Dave
  7. Much appreciated. Off to buy some ACF. Dave
  8. Thanks for the replies. I'll be using the bike throughout winter as I only work 3 miles from my house. Dave
  9. I am new to biking so forgive my ignorance. I am slowly learning how to maintain my bike and already thinking about winter. Question is what is the best thing to use to protect the electrics for winter. I was thinking of using an electrical grease on the connectors etc. Would this be ok or is there something more specific to protect the electrics? Cheers in advance Dave
  10. Hi I had a very similar problem which turned out to be a blocked main jet. The hole for the jet is minute so be careful what you use to get any junk out. Also make sure the screw that secures the choke lever is tight. Dave
