Ideally you want to go in-between (there is quite a bit of room) to show your control - but if you do go round the yellow slalom you may get a minor but not a fail
No, you won't get a minor. You can turn as wide as you want/need to with impunity.

Pikeys live by their own set of rules and honour and think people like us are scum just here to taken advantage of in anyway they can. They don't give a f**k about us or our laws.
I have in the past employed a number of people that would ordinarily be referred to by others, and themselves, as "pikeys". On the whole I found them to be hard-workiing, conscientious, reliable, trustworthy and honourable employees.
I imagine that if instead of employing them, I had simply told them to "f**k off" as soon as they looked in my direction, then my thoughts on their worth as human beings would be quite different.
Funnily enough, I have had similar experiences with people from Poland and Romania.
I suspect I got it wrong somewhere along the line. Maybe instead of employing them I should have just read the Daily Mail.
-
So they are just thieving scum and this is why i wouldn't employ anyone who hasn't got a land line or an address which they can be contacted on.
I dislike people that stereotype. They're ALL w**kers!

Armed police in the US killed more people in November this year than were killed by police in the UK in the last 25 years.
Anyone still want to arm our police?
-
the americans define a mass shooting as 4 or more shot. by that metric there have already been more mass shootings in america than days passed in 2015 to this point.
When people complain "too soon!" for jokes about a mass shooting, are they referring to the one that, statistically, will occur later today, or the one that happened this morning?

I'm guessing that its because undertaking is technically against the law.
It's not illegal to overtake on the near side.

Yep. Ever feel like when they were putting this process together they didn't really think it through?
No.
They want you to pay an instructor as they want you to access professional training in order that you have a slightly better chance of living longer. KSI rates are falling so their approach appears to be working.

Royal Mail?
Large supermarkets?

Anyone used to play Nethack?

What could be easier? Stick it in drive and move away, and put it in park at the end of your journey and optionally apply the handbrake before you get out.
Handbrake?

Done yesterday but cba to post at the time

Or just put it in park? Don't drive an auto but that's what I'd do.
Doesn't that rather negate the whole point of having an auto?
One gear change per trip is enough thanks.

Any ideas what this will cost for a 250cc? I've also been advised to maybe consider a slightly larger engine size. If I were to go for a 400 would I be able to use the same licence or would it be another (more expensive) process?
Budget somewhere around £700 for full training and tests

I have a full UK driving licence and I was wondering what kind of licence I will need to get so that I can ride a 250cc motorbike across Europe and Africa?
Your licence will need to be a FULL licence, not provisional, to be valid in any other country.

If you want a good chippy on the west coast I would recommend Largs.
Or Oban

Hi,
Anyone know if I can take the A2 restricted bike test on a Honda 400 baby blade?
It is not in the list of bikes on the DVLA web site.
I think you largely answered your own question.
And VOSA have this to say...
For other motorcycles not on this list, or where your motorcycle has been restricted to comply with the rules, you can use it but you must give certified proof of compliance or restriction. This must be a certificate or on headed paper from an official source (eg a main dealer, official importer or recognised specialist in restricting vehicles). Dyno certificates alone are not allowed. So yes, you can use it, but not without jumping through many hoops first.

I was thinking the same about shares Alex!
now is not the time to buy them though give it a little longer and they will drop more
Now's the time to go short on VW, and I probably will be for a while yet

Watch out for re-banding of tax groups on cars now!!
I already pay £500 a year and can't currently be expected to pay more

Anyone got a spare neutral they want to sell?
I appear to have lost mine... feck!

Lifetime warrantee on the Halfords Pro/Advanced tools plus the convenience to be able to fetch them back to any Halfords store if they break.
"All Silverline tools come with unbeatable guarantees - hand tools are guaranteed for life"
Day trips (to nearest Halfords store) are rarely convenient

Which is more correct? 2 or 5?
when you have the correct amount of tension
And if the tension is correct at both 2 and 5? As it would be, logically.
I'm thinking angle of attack... which would be different at 2, as opposed to 5.
-
Adjust then recheck when everything is tightened up
One thing to watch is that the hub is greased to stop it seizing I have seen this on a few!
Thanks for the tip.
I do have a question... If tension is correct at, say, 2 o'clock, then it'd also be correct at 5 o'clock. Which is more correct? 2 or 5?

Anyone know anything worth knowing about eccentric chain adjusters?
