I mean no idiot is going to try to shatter a gas pipe or cut it? Right?
-
do you think it's worth it?
No. Wait till you're older and test on a proper bike
-
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank You in advance!
Jordan.
My money is on clutch, and on it being nothing to worry about

So what is the licence group for a full no restriction bike licence.
A on the photocard, not on the paper counterpart.
-
it is a bit of a grey area if you ask me and isn't clearly lined out
my understanding is that a moped licence is a different category to a car but in the same category of a bike so you are upgrading
maybe someone needs to test it
Prior to 2013 moped was Cat P, so theory was needed for Cat A.
Now we have Cat AM (and Q) but is AM part of Cat A (so wouldn't need theory) or a separate Cat in it's own right (so theory IS needed)?
My head hurts now... and I want my test fee back!
-
although as you have a moped licence I'm pretty sure you don't need to do the theory as you are upgrading your category and not adding a new one
My understanding is...
He'll be asked for theory certificate when he presents himself for test. If he'd actually passed a moped test then no need, otherwise he's adding a new category as the moped thing is a "deemed" licence category.
But I could be wrong, in which case I wasted the theory fee

Hi guys...never owned a bike and now at the age of 60 I fancy getting a 175 Bantam.
I hold a full car licence and HGV...
Nick.
CBT to validate the provisional Gp A entitlement. Without that you can't ride anything (unless it has 4 legs).
Then Gp A full test to ride a 175cc, which ideally needs training on a big bike before doing motorbike theory, Mod 1 offroad and Mod 2 onroad tests.

the other fella got done for wreckless driving,

Planning a 48 hr ride out with my brother in the summer, just wanted to ask preferences from people regarding best roads in either scotland or Wales, we wanna stop in a hostel or something to keep costs down, so we're would be better Scotland or Wales cheers all
West coast Scotland - Glasgow, Inverary, Oban, Glencoe, Glen Orchy, Sterling, Glasgow. Or something similar.

Don't ever follow me on the M25 then
I call speeded up video. Take that into account and I don't see much wrong with it.

Had first training for it today. I did mess up as was in wrong lane to where I was meant to go and switched. I know, I shouldn't have done that :-/
The only other thing I was doing wrong and have presumably always been doing wrong is when turning right at a roundabout I was ending up in left lane to early. He wanted me to stay in right lane longer. Any advice on this would be helpful
Switching lanes is fine so long as it's legal to do so, that doing so doesn't cause other roadusers to have to change direction or speed, and that you do it safely.
Right turn at roundabout - Signal right on approach and use the right hand lane and stay on the inside of the roundabout until you pass the last exit that is just before your turn. Check mirrors, left shoulder check and signal left to confirm your intentions to exit the roundabout.

So yet another company ive had to explain basic consumer rights to and threaten with legal action if they dont comply. Its kind of becoming a regular thing now. Company screws me over, I threaten to sue, they then comply... Why dont they just follow the rules in the first place???
Simple. Most people are not as tenacious. So mostly they win the war of attrition.

toying with the URL "twowheelssixfingers.co.uk"
I don't get it

The bungs are defo still there.. I must just be noticing because the fuel is so low. Loose/lose the message was conveyed!
Indeed it was. Pleased that you found it again though...

The version of GoPro Studio I had wouldn't recognise my H4 Black (V2.4 on Mac) but I noticed there was V2.5 available. Downloaded and installed. Updated my H4 no problem.
Should be able to do it through the Smart Phone or Tablet App as well.
Got it in the end. Reinstalled the original Studio download and it updated from there.
The new Timelapse Video looks useful, as does the Burst. Northern lights videos coming up shortly!

Anyone with a GoPro 4: There is a new Firmware Upgrade that adds some nice little features
http://gopro.com/update/HERO4?utm_sourc ... arget=true
GoPro Studio doesn't recognise my 4 silver, keeps asking me to connect my HD Hero 2. Which I don't have.
Sigh
Easy solution says GoPro, uninstall and reinstall GoPro Studio - Click on Download Now on GoPro website and 404 not found. Multiple times.
Sigh
Don't you just love it when updates cause more issues than they address?
-
bad sides - It gets clogged up quickly in the winter. I've had two on different bikes in the past, both of them got clogged.
They are great for the summer, I have no issues with them at all, infact I would recommend them if you are only doing summer miles, but as soon as the winter gets here, the mud flings up on your wheels, the salt starts attacking everything, thats when the tubes get clogged
I've had a scottoiler fitted for 6 years and have never had this happen. Maybe try resiting the outlet?

Can you even get spares for Hyosung as I thought they'd pulled out of the UK market!
Yes. Motogb.
MotoGB are the company behind the import and distribution of Hyosung in the UK! Based in Chorley, Lancashire, their rather large modern warehouse facility is packed full of Motorcycles, Scooters and vast quantities of spare parts. Here you will find the Hyosung machines rubbing shoulders with Royal Enfield, Sym, Daelim, LML and Benelli -the other brands that are also officially distributed by MotoGB. -

Coasting is a definite NO.
Lifesaver to the left for any exit. You're looking for a threat, those on the right are not a threat when you exit, but the "undertakers" are. So left.
-
Quite probably! My last major project was a £230,000 print run
Are you a counterfeiter?
-
Yep, but that's part of the issue! I am always checking behind me in the car, and therefore am used to getting a good view and being very sure there's nothing there. The checks I take on the bike are so much more limited in what I see that it worries me I'm not seeing nearly enough!
I suppose I can practise smaller, quicker checks that replicate being on a bike, instead of nice big comfy looks...
None of the threats you're looking for will be airborne, so you actually only need to look at the bit of road that they would occupy. That realisation changed the game for me, and changed a sideways glance into a down/side glance, which is easier iyswim.

Thank you for replying
She's been with them 8months just found out she's being under paid aswell.
There isn't anything on her contract noting about social media, the photo was of her self smiley photo, and yes she did upload it her self.
No she isn't with any unions.
And I will do, she has just been reading online and printing bits of as she's been under paid, and works up to 8 hours straight or more with no break last week she worked 8-5 with no lunch break, she shut the shop at 4.45 to go for a week and her boss, was very nasty towards about this. She took the photo on her lunch break... And I we are tomorrow and going to Acas aswell
First step would be to remove the offending picture. I know you said it was a lunchtime snap, but even so if it's causing her boss some angst then removing it would be sensible.
I'm puzzled as to how she can take pictures at lunchtime when she works 8-5 with no lunch break...
That aside, get her to CAB as soon as possible and follow their advice carefully.
Meanwhile, in her shoes, I'd be job-hunting. Her boss sounds like a nightmare.
Good luck!

Anyway, to my point! Whenever I looked over my shoulder I found it really tricky to get a good view of what was behind me. How much should I realistically expect to see?
The question you need to answer first is "Why am I looking?"
You're looking for threats to your safety lurking in your blind spot.
So the answer to "How much?" is "Enough to ensure safety."
