Because it's not registered on any database as having been in an accident. So when it's fixed and sold on, the next owner won't know.

Ah, got you. I thought you meant buying as-is, hence the confusion!

Looks superb.  Is it under powered?

You're a serial flipper mate so I give you a few months tops regardless 🤣

It's had a stage 2 so about 172Nm of torque (in other words, no).

4 years, 4 bikes (excluding the ill-fated month with a Street Twin - that one doesn't count)... this will be no 5, and I reckon I'll have it for a lot longer than a year.

I know people who are a lot worse than me, btw 🙂

    Looking good Sir!

If the weather is kind and you have the time let me know if you would like to meet up one evening in the week for a chat and exchange of B.S Lol.

    Cheers

Could be difficult mid-week as I tend to be working till late. If you fancy hooking up one weekend that could be more doable, though.

If you can afford it, do DAS. Bigger bikes are easier to ride on the road than 125s. And you will enjoy it more.

Agreed. Also, try a few bikes before you settle on one; for example, something like a Street Triple in either 675 or 765 guise may be right up your street. Fast when you want it to be, but also a great all-rounder.

  5. Another 60 miles on this beauty of a bike today (so the best part of 170 miles since picking it up). I feel like I'm beginning to understand what it's about, the things it excels at and the times you have to treat it with a bit of respect.

    OOH!

You don`t seem to have shiny rings around the ends of your pipes for you to polish.

I bet you are disappointed lol.

Congratulations and I hope you enjoy your new friend as much as I am enjoying mine and it seems like @fastbob is quite pleased too!

    So everyone a winner.

    Cheers

Thank you very much! I think it's going to be a marriage made in heaven!

That`s a point @learningtofly will have to polish the little shiny ring at the end of his new black exhaust pipes !

Wonder who he is collecting it from?

    Cheers

Lind HD in Watford - the unit next door to Lind Triumph, from whom I bought the Tiger. The Sales Manager for both is ex-Palmers Triumph in Hemel Hempstead, from whom I bought two Triumphs previously (in fact, most of the team there transferred to Lind (presumably under TUPE) when the Palmers dealership closed its doors).
