  1. Too much rides and barbecues, last two days couldn’t update anything.

We went for a ride around on the island, roads are almost empty, no tourists so nice sporty ride out.

Generally very good tarmac, when dry, nice fast, long corners for speeds 80, 90 miles/hr.

Perfect weather 20 to 25 degrease Celsius.

Went to southern tip of the island called Baska

Up on return, barbecue preparation and execution,

Got lamb meat from neighbours, wine and olive oil as well,

Some pork meet too, they grow their own food and animals

That was long long night with too much wine.........

  2. It is incredibly comfy bike, friend of mine have pikes peak model, sitting position, seat, pegs position, handlebar, all is perfect, for long rides.

Just need a time to get used to very wide handlebar,

No issues with the bike expect keyless, battery doesn’t last for long.

The battery in my BMW keyless fob lasted three years. That seemed OK.

That’s good, his was 12 months first and something like 8 months second. Then they did something and now it’s ok las 18 or 20 months

  3. I've got the 950 and if I could afford it I'd go up to the 950S. The 1260 is awesome but for what I want to actually do is a bit over the top. As it is on my 950 I've done 500 mile days with nothing more than a slightly numb bum. It is a very comfy bike and touch wood very reliable for me.

  4. Not recommended removal definitely, except if you have proper protection for that pinlock. It works in the way to absorb the moisture, so keep it on, as well in the summer fogging of the visor is possible.

Regarding mounting, no worries visor is extremely flexible, just careful don’t scratch it.

As well cleaning visor with pinlock only from outside don’t wet the pinlock.

Pin locks can be cleaned using liquid soap and water.

    See here.

I did it once following their Pinlock cleaning procedure and it newer worked good again.

Maybe faulty pinlock who knows but I never did it again, just clean dry microfibre.

  6. Wow! Thanks!

Had a lovely day unpacking and fitting my Airhawk seat pad and Garmin Sat Nav. All set for a big tour, just need Queen Nicola I permission to go.

Airhawk is the best aftermarket part I add to my bike.

  7. I'm hoping it comes off and we get to see a trip report - with pictures of course .....

This latest bright idea from the government of making all returnees and visitors undergo a 14 day quarantine may have brought all our plans to a crashing halt. but, there is still plenty of time for a reversal. We don't need to make a final decision untll the start of August. And we already have the beginnings of a Plan B ready to roll out. for 'just in case'. Im still quite optimistic. because very soon the pressure on the government will begin to mount, its already started. From the airlines and soon from the travel industry and ferry companies all desperate to claw-back some business for this year. That.... plus all the destination countries (aside from greece - right now) opening up and hoping for british holiday makers. Well... one can hope. we have at least 8 weeks left before a final decision has to be made.

I believe they will give up by then, this is economic and political decisions to stop people going abroad spending money. This way Mahoney will be spent in the country. Other day I went to bank to get travel money, euros and usd, they don’t do it at the moment. Went to post office to get some , same story, no travel money in the country. Retarded

  8. @Marino Not sure if it will affect you but from the 10th Austria are closing some roads to motorcycles :thumb:

Anyway I will be on the motorway only

Is there a full list for all bikes

Unlikely I would be there on the bike but I have a removable baffle on a car that's bloody noisy

They don’t care about cars. Motorcycles only, as it says in that text, les decibels from the bikes than local tractors, buses and tracks, but people are annoyed by bikes. Probably if you will just roll with engine off they will complain because of tyre noise

  9. I will have to undergo 14 days as I am returning on 18.06. But probably will have to go back to ship immediately after that quarantine and have to be quarantined on the ship for 14 days, so lot of quarantine for me.
