  1. aha! Thanks, mods might want to put it in the site news bit otherwise I'd never have seen it
  2. Are we not having a rally t-shirt this year?
  3. Pay off the bike and put the £200 a month to a good use, some into a rainy day fund, some into a holiday fund.
  4. Couldn't fully hear the commentator after the event but from what he said and what I've read on WSB website sounded like Rea's fault. Either way, was such a shame as they'd ridden brilliantly the whole race
  5. It was a cracking day, and only £10 for a student ticket!!! Me and my gf sat on the second corner and saw two crashes. Checa was really annoyed and threw his glove at someone lol Not a good result for my fantasy race league though. We was gutted when the tw*t Rea took out the two BMWs, the crowd went crazy at that!
  6. The founder is a HOG, so as you might expect, there are quite a lot of them go, although there are also a hell of a lot of sports bikes that go as well, there's thousands attend so I'm sure you'll find some bikes you like somewhere. If you go from drayton manor it's quite a nice ride, but going from the motorway starts isn't quite as nice a ride, but still a great event.
  7. Quick note, does anyone have a 2011 pin they don't want? My girlfriend went last year but it was a last minute decision and didn't get a pin
  8. Registration has now opened for the 2012 'Ride To The Wall' Clicky It is an amazing day for a fantastic cause. This will be the 5th year it has run. It started with a few hundred in 2008 and now has several thousand attending. Hope to see you there

  10. I stand corrected
  11. No you can buy 10w40 semi synthetic oil for bikes from most bike garages and places like halfords. I believe there are a few different additives in bike oils, I believe it's because it lubes the gearbox too.
  12. I made a team when it first came on and I've left it, cba with constant changing, I'll be back end of the year to see how I've done!
  13. Don't worry, there's some good cleaners out there if you get some on your bike Tango
  14. Cheers for all the suggestions guys, will try and service it next week, failing that definitely get it done the week after.
  15. Take it in for a service??????? Why? I'll change the plugs, oil and filter and everything else it says for a major service in the hand book next Friday I think and see how that goes. If it doesn't solve it I guess I'll give in and buy a Haynes Manual for the bike, failing that I guess I really will give in and take it to a garage...
  16. Any ideas on how to fix it or where it is?
  17. It is fuel injected and I have played around with the idle speed settings, most of the time it work 100% fine but occasionally it does this, quite annoying. Its coming up to needing a service so I think I might do that next weekend and check the sparks etc see if that makes a difference. Really don't want to have to take it to the garage as trying to save some money up.
  18. My 2004 FZS-6 will start perfectly fine and run fine however after a while it will either idle at really low engine speeds or it wont idle at all. If I turn the bike off few seconds and restart it, it is perfectly fine for a while then does it again. Anyone got any ideas what might cause this?
  19. I have a two piece set of textiles and a one piece leather suit, I'd rather they were both two pieces to be honest. The two piece textiles are brilliant for the fact that I can easily sit in my textiles or take my jacket off and leave it somewhere, it's brilliant. However I hate textiles and only wear them when it's too cold or wet for the leathers (even whilst wearing thermal layers, I wait until it's that bad) I love my one piece leather suit, but I would much prefer a two piece set and would of had some if I could have found some in my size at BMF the other month.

  21. Afraid I'm meant to be working, will see about swapping but can do the weekend after if that proves more popular, though more chance of people not coming because of the weather the later in the year I guess.
  22. Note to self: always read all the details of items on ebay. Busters is a company that sells DID chains, guess I'm going with them!
  23. Afraid the Tsubaki ones are at least £30 more than the DID and £50 more than buster and I'm a poor student at the moment so not much chance of that
  24. Anyone got anything to say on either brand? They seem to be two big sellers of chain and sprocket sets on ebay, busters is quite a bit cheaper but anyone had any experience of either brand?
  25. Nman1 GOG 'Newbe' Seabluegal (tbc) Ash (tbc) Roadrunner Matin675 (tbc) Aaron Seawolf84 Bonniebird (tbc) Afraid I've had to remove my name, been told I have to work two 12.5 hour shifts that weekend
