  2. I've had this problem every time I've too the GSXF's calipers apart. Clean the piston as much as you can to get the dirt off. Then get some wood or something and place it over the piston and whack it with a hammer (or use a wooden mallet) If you have a strong G-clamp that works too though I've broken one before trying to use one for this job.
  3. I think I'd prefer a standard one for the bike, don't fancy covering my bike in things like that tbh, I'll pm you what I'm after tomorrow hopefully
  4. I have two options at the moment I'll look a bit of a tool in both so it's all good
  5. Do we need to preorder these or are you just going to take plenty to the rally? Would you be able to do some like this too? http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z30/nman1_photo/stickers3.jpg
  6. Looks pretty good, will mark it on my calender and will see how the funds are doing nearer the time.
  7. and the chances of you sticking to that food and drink budget are slim to none. I think I managed to spend well over £100 last year.
  8. Well back home and just finished watching last night's TT racing. Great seeing everyone this morning and putting some more faces to name!
  9. yeah I meant to put 'fart' too lol A 500cc scoot? You should definately have come along! Still time...
  10. Old fat? Have you seen some of the furniture on this site? A 50cc scooter might look a bit odd in the middle of a dozen 600-1000cc bikes though... Could still meet us there, if not have fun a CMC
  11. but what? Still chance to meet people there! I'll be leaving loughborough in about 20 mins to meet near the train station road in melton mowbray
  12. Well since you're going to be traveling back in time that doesn't really matter surely?
  13. I jumped my mum's cbr600 off a vw gold diesel 2L before and had no problems.
  14. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/ ... ather.html Met office thinks cloudy with sunnt intervals so it's possible it's going to piss it down Nah looking forward to this, will be a good break from revision and it looks like there will be 13-14 if everyone turns up.
  15. It depends on the size of the car. Old bikes you can jump them off most cars as long as they don't have a massive battery. Newer bikes any small car really, never had a problem with either though. If you're worried about frying circuits just don't rev the car engine while it's connected.
  16. If you have a rough time I'll just try and make sure I'm there before hand, don't mind waiting. Although if you could text/call me as you're leaving A38 services that would be useful.
  17. Akey, will you be going down the A606 through melton mowbray then? Any chance of meeting up at the train station there? It's literally right next to the 606
  18. Yeah that's my thoughts lol however I need to do well on these exams as I'm not convinced about how well I've done on my coursework
  19. Fair enough, at least you know it will all get sorted that way.
  20. oooo erm hmmm.... I'm meant to be revising although that does look extreamly tempting... We shall see how much revision I get done today/tomorrow.
  21. Nope, last time I had a flat I took the wheel/tyre off and carried that 3 miles which would be a lot easier now I think about it.
  22. I rather like the looks of it but I would only be able to make it saturday lunch until sunday afternoon due to work so not really worth it for a £25 ticket. Maybe next year
  23. I left my heated grips on for several days and it completely and utterly drained the battery. I hucked it up to a mates car and went for a ride for a couple of hours and it's fine now. Just dont stall it within the first 20 mins or so otherwise you'll have to jump it again! As for getting the bike to the garage, it's only 2 miles, push it!!! Hope you get it all sorted mate
  24. Pretty unlucky there mate! I'd tell them you want postage both ways refunding too! Hope they just caugh up and save you the hassle though. What on earth makes these people think they can sell stuff listed as new when it's in such poor condition and get away with it?
