  2. Is it just me or does anyone else think he has one of those faces you really want to punch
  3. Went on a mission this afternoon for some future ride reports. As @XTreme has the monopoly on the darkside, i am going into ghost hunting, have reccied a couple of graveyards and will do some more during daylight hours, but the main hunt will begin at night. So anyone who wants to join in are more than welcome A couple of interesting headstones to wet your appetite This one would not focus, took a couple of this one and this is the clearest
  4. Just the usual scare tactics to get money out of gullible people, why not take it to the place that did the last MOT on it, as they will have some knowledge of the bike and can give you a better informed answer
  5. Wtf, which insurer ?

    RATS

A cat will be no match for a rat, best course of action is a water trap, basically a big bucket half filled with water with a bridge over it that tips and drops down when it has any decent weight on it. Another option is to get another dog like a Jack russell which have a natural instinct for ratting. Or as mentioned air rifle, you can get some decent kit nowaday's for very little money Ask these guy's on here if you fancy some pest control https://www.airgunforum.co.uk/community/index.php
  7. No worries @Stu, at least it's there for smaller files, this service manual though is quite comprehensive, i have it saved on my pc, so it can be shared again in the future if needed
  8. tried twice, both failed, what is the file size limit as this file is 12.5MB, i have uploaded to a file hosting site so it accessible from there for week until it expires
  9. I have uploaded to a file hosting site, but will expire after a week, so download asap, it is only a service manual but it seems very comprehensive and should give you a good start to troubleshoot and service your bike https://filebin.net/v1ra3hry1fymhwj6
  10. I just happened to find a YBR service manual on FB that someone posted, and thought it would be useful for @Blackholesun
  11. I have come across a pdf version of a workshop manual, just waiting to see if it can be uploaded for you
  12. @Stu , @rennie, @Tiggie, @Bender, trying to post a pdf file but it seems that pdf's are not supported, anyway to check or implement, cheers
  13. It could well have been off the road since the first MOT was due, so maybe used for 3 years then garaged or traded in and has been sat in a corner somewhere until recently.
  14. Probably as the engine does not need to work for it to pass, unless the lights need the engine running to work it would have been issued a daytime only MOT
  15. The history will only go back as far to when the system went digital, it is possible it was off the road for a few years just checked mine and it does indeed go back to the first MOT which for me is 2005, so it should have some history going back further, as @Six30 it could be an import, but it is missing some info
  16. Why did you go to a main dealer instead of a local bike garage, you should know that main dealers are twats for screwing you over
  17. Have you checked it's MOT history, might give some clue to how well or badly it's been cared for
  18. Buy a Haynes manual and diy it
  19. The stores in Scotland are open
  20. Yes, i am going to do, just went back out to it and it still squeaks, so that is my job for tomorrow, going to get some bits in the morning then make a start on it after lunch
  21. I have an annoying squeak coming from the swingarm pivot, it did the same about this time last year , anyway loosened off the nut and applied some oil and did my usual bouncing up and down to work it in, hopefully that should be another year of squeak free riding Didn't go out yesterday, which i'm glad really as today is a much better day, and i will have much more time, so win win
