  2. Why?, the v5 clearly states Bicycle as the vehicle class, maybe the DVLA, should re-classify the description Need to make an edit, on the v5 the taxation class is Bicycle, but the body type is referred to as Motor Bicycle ,

  4. Aldi, on Sunday, have in store, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch basic socket sets for £9.99 each, so my dilemma is over
  5. No idea, i guess it depends on the position of the filter, you could maybe put a slightly bigger plastic box over it, leaving plenty of gap for airflow, but help reduce direct water contact,
  6. water getting in through the air filter,
  7. How many people does it take to polish a fooking turd

  12. I think @Six30 has the right idea. A lad I went to college with was so anxious about taking his driving test that he took acid beforehand. He wrote off his instructors car by stuffing it into a Mr Kipling lorry. But a couple of years later I saw him riding one of those big council mowing machines in a huge cloud of weed smoke. I have no idea what point it is I'm trying to make. They do make exceedingly good cakes
  13. Had a look at where Halford's stores are, there is one at Crystal peak, and one not too far from Parkgate, so there are a few options, my best day would be a Saturday afternoon, but would be limited to 2-3 hours

Relatively new to riding myself, and just starting to get to grips on my own bike, i found this site really useful https://begin-motorcycling.co.uk/motorcycle-maintenance-beginner/, which side of Sheffield are you on, as i'm in Donny, i don't have a lot of spare time, but i could manage an hour or 2 if you wanted to meet somewhere halfway

    Diesel........

Petrol in a diesel is fine, a firm i worked for had an LDV 400 2.5 diesel, and by accident put a tenners worth of petrol in before i realised, so i then put in 20 quids worth of diesel, and all was fine, although it did double the horse power , but in my defence of said mistake, i also had one in a 2 litre duel fuel petrol/lpg version
  22. Do, do, do come on and do the conga,

    Picking usernames

In day's gone by, when one only had an outdoor privvy, having a wee in the sink was normal, did you ever notice how low the old Belfast sinks were, if you look at old kitchens and wash rooms that had pot sinks, you will see that they are set very low, that's why, they were low, mainly so the women could sit on the edge and pee
