Good morning Frosty start to the day shame I am working as it looks like it's going to be another cracking one. I did sleep well last night I was in bed just after eight. Skegness looks like a decent place to go fishing too, you can't fish off the pier though, they have put up string lights between the lamp posts TWATS! Otherwise the beach looks good enough And going direct it's only 77 miles so just a few miles more than Brid, might have a crack this coming weekend

Good morning Didn't go back out last night, had my tea and the day caught up with me, so I did a final check of all the nuts and bolts on Xena before I put her away for the night. I will be out today though brekky here we come

Going to go back out in a bit, got my tea in the oven, sod all on the telly and it's too nice an evening to pass up

When out and grabbed a burger and some brake cleaner from J&S, cleaned the discs and pads, went for a longish ride round some nice twisties to help bed the pads in with plenty of braking, went back home, and after a coffee and some yum yums, changed the oil and filter, all good for another 2000 miles before the next oil change and filter in another 4000

New brake pads fitted, not too difficult of a job, and the pistons are okay gave them a quick clean with a fine scotch pad and they pushed back no problem. The real twat was the tightening the headstock, had to take the handlebars off to get to slacken off the main nut, tapped the other with a drift about an 1/8 of an inch and all now seated properly. Took me about an hour and a half to complete both jobs, ready for my dinner now might go to the burger van and test out my handy work

Good morning Had a chippy tea run last night to Misterton chippy, very nice not too badly priced for eating in, Reg Cod/haddock and chips and sauce ( mushy peas,curry sauce, gravy etc ) £8.00. They also open for breakfasts, so will try that at some point

Possible cause water getting into the HT lead somewhere and shorting out, check for any cracks in the lead, and also check the plug cap for signs of water ingress.
