  8. or the kill switch, do you have to engage the clutch to start it? There's a switch in the clutch lever on mine and when it broke it did the same as yours Guy
  9. There was a guy flogging photos but by the time I'd packed the bike up he'd gone. I also had a hi viz vest on so the pics would probs be shite. I did jump on the mountain but only a tiny bit my dad was watching from the bar and he said there was definitely air under my tyre. What's knockhill like, it's a bit closer to me. Guy
  10. Did my first trackday on Thursday at cadwell park and it was immense. Took the bike down in the van and had to set off at 4 in the morning. Got there for 7 and got the bike sorted. Had briefings noise test (passed easy with standerd but got a 2 bros ordered so might have to get a baffle for that). And then the sighting laps with an instructor. Had a 20 min session every hour up until 5. Started off nice and slow and didn't really kick the arse all day with the new bike and that. Buy the end of the day I was getting the hang of the track and my times were coming down nothing special though. Cadwell is a nails track and there's loads of blind entry's to corners so it's such a rush when you get a smooth lap. There was loads of crashes all lads on track/race bikes and all of them were first/ second lap cold tyres stuff. There were brand new rsv4s and a bloke with a matched pair of 1983 125 race bikes and was not much slower than me. Already got my next one planned. I'd recommend it to everyone because it's awesome. There's no pressure to go fast but it does make you want to rag it. Just can't wait to do another Guy

  16. Cbt to pass in 4 days with a really good school in Bradford. Not a problem. Experience is good but how about getting some experience on the kind of bike your going to ride for the foreseeable future. It's only gonna go as fast as you make it. Guy
  17. Awesome, will be keeping an eye on this thread. Guy
  18. Awesome, Cheers Fozzie, not bad paid 40 bucks for it as a non runner, no key no v5. Charged the battery, clean the carbs and put some fresh fuel in and it started first time. Sent off for the v5 and put in a switch for the ignition and it's an Mot passed. Gonna run it through the winter and flog it. Nice to hear it's expensive $$$$$$. Should make a tidy profit from that next summer. Thanks again Guy
  19. Fozzie, You ever had anything to do with an MZ 125 SM/SX. I've acquired a 2007 SX for cheap and I can find very little online about it. Seems pretty good tbh. Cheers Guy
  20. Back home safe and sound. Top night, good Banter and better music. Good to put some names to faces. Guy
  21. Due to work I won't be able to be there till Saturday morning. Will someone save me a space for my tent, it's only a tiny 1 man thing. Hope I don't miss too much banter on Friday. Guy
  22. Think I might of seen you at JOG, I was with a guy on a thou ktm and a 1250 bandit I saw the red bull ktm. A great day and now the aches are fading im even thinking of going next year. Guy
  23. Fair play to the bloke on the c90. My knees are hurting most now and for a treat got a fitness test tomorrow 15kg 8mile tab in 2 hours. NICE. Gonna try and ride the bike on Wednesday see how my bum feels. Guy
  24. Well I did it, 1000 miles in 21 and a half hours. Don't know the total raised yet for the RBL but there was about 250 riders. I did the north route clockwise, so started at squires in Leeds then Manchester, fort William, Inverness, wick, John o groats, back to Inverness, down through Edinburgh, berrick and then back to squires. It rained all day apart from at John o groats. My bum is killing and my back, wrists and neck are sore. If I do this again might borrow something more comfortable. The RBL people were very welcoming and the marshals did a fantastic job.I would recommend it to anyone. F Guy
  25. No deal mate going to the dessert for 6 months in sep. Wondering wether to keep the bike on the road in case I come back. Guy
