I've topped the tank on my gsxr, put it on stands and sprayed it with acf55. Not bothered about the 125. Any reading material is good there's a few lads that have bikes so they'll all get passed around. Guy Ps parcels are sent to bfpo and it's free under 2kg.

Well I'm off to Afghanistan on Sunday so I don't think I'll be around for a while. A cooked meal once a week and showers every 4 days. Can't wait. It's a 6 month tour so I should miss all the rubbish weather and come back as it starts to warm up. Think I'll have a new bike when I get back. I don't think there's Internet where I'm going but there's a rumour we should be online by Christmas. I know it's dead cheeky but if anyone wants to send me anything I'll pm my address. Anything would be appreciated especially mags or papers. I'll be around for a few days but then I'll log on when I can. Guy

Done a fair bit of climbing. Mainly indoor but spent a few weeks in Germany doing outdoor sport climbing and learning stuff for an instructors course. A great hobby, seen as there's loads of indoor centres now. The initial outlay can be steep but now you've got it that's it. Guy

That is awesome, nice to have something that can be brought up at every family get together, Xmas birthdays etc etc. Guy

Watching a show on the box Last night about 9 11 conspiracy theories and the only thing that I thought was actually true, is that most theorists will not let any amount of proof change their mind. There was some serious shouting at the telly going on. Guy

cbt straight to das
guybandit replied to tryme's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
Cbt to pass in 4 days with a really good school in Bradford. Not a problem. Experience is good but how about getting some experience on the kind of bike your going to ride for the foreseeable future. It's only gonna go as fast as you make it. Guy -

Awesome, will be keeping an eye on this thread. Guy -
Awesome, Cheers Fozzie, not bad paid 40 bucks for it as a non runner, no key no v5. Charged the battery, clean the carbs and put some fresh fuel in and it started first time. Sent off for the v5 and put in a switch for the ignition and it's an Mot passed. Gonna run it through the winter and flog it. Nice to hear it's expensive $$$$$$. Should make a tidy profit from that next summer. Thanks again Guy

Fozzie, You ever had anything to do with an MZ 125 SM/SX. I've acquired a 2007 SX for cheap and I can find very little online about it. Seems pretty good tbh. Cheers Guy

Due to work I won't be able to be there till Saturday morning. Will someone save me a space for my tent, it's only a tiny 1 man thing. Hope I don't miss too much banter on Friday. Guy -

Fair play to the bloke on the c90. My knees are hurting most now and for a treat got a fitness test tomorrow 15kg 8mile tab in 2 hours. NICE. Gonna try and ride the bike on Wednesday see how my bum feels. Guy
-
Well I did it, 1000 miles in 21 and a half hours. Don't know the total raised yet for the RBL but there was about 250 riders. I did the north route clockwise, so started at squires in Leeds then Manchester, fort William, Inverness, wick, John o groats, back to Inverness, down through Edinburgh, berrick and then back to squires. It rained all day apart from at John o groats. My bum is killing and my back, wrists and neck are sore. If I do this again might borrow something more comfortable. The RBL people were very welcoming and the marshals did a fantastic job.I would recommend it to anyone. F Guy

RST Razor leather jacket
guybandit replied to dimmers's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
Got one and it's awesome. Can't fault it not too chilli in the mornings and good when you take the lining out for sunny days. Think that's what I paid for mine too. Guy -
Sorry mate got to do girlfriend stuff today as she goes back to work. I'm out tomorrow though, not sure where yet did Whitby the other day. Anyone else out. Guy

Panniers, Tailpack and disk lock
guybandit replied to Boothy's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
Had the paniers used em once but quite fiddily to get secure, might be me though. Got a kriega tail pack and its bombproof. Rigid on the bike nice and quick to fit and waterproof. Guy -
2wheelschool vs lsm leeds
guybandit replied to toon83's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
Used two wheel school and I've got to say they were awesome. Really good set of instructors. I needed my training done quick so I had early starts at 6 in the morning and they couldn't do enough. Gut -
Cbt Monday, mod 1 Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday off, Thursday practice and Friday mod 2. Only had the week in the uk so the instructor smashed me. Early starts and 6 o'clock knock offs. Got a good discount as the bloke was ex forces so $$$ wasn't such a big deal. Really enjoyed it though and the busier the school is the more likely they are to get cancelations or no shows so you could get through really quick. Guy

I've got a disgustingly small one line letter box and it looks immense. Never had any probs and I do about 800 miles a month. The two line 7 by 5 ones are just illegal and look pretty trick. Guy
