  8. Pretty sure its the tracking. Get it booked in to be re-aligned and it should fix it..
  9. Definately not. I personally would look for a very good 2nd hand bike with low miles, still save you a packet and if its dropped, the money you saved from not buying new can be used to replace anything damaged
  10. Another shit day at work... F**K IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Lol sorry Ruth. Just thought it fitted the conversation.. He is fine now, just scarred.. Still rides!
  12. Ruth, its definately worth buying some. My friend came off his bike the other year wearing Dragging jeans at 45mph. The bike fell onto his leg and trapped it pulling him down the road, which burst his knee cap open.. I gather from the weight of the bike and the friction of the road. In end he had to had 200 stitches inside and out to repair his leg. If he had armour it would have definately prevented some, if not most of the damage. Always worth wearing armour as clothing can only protect to a certain level.
  13. Craig where did you get your bar ends from? Need some new ones coz mine are scratched to hell since some bint knocked my bike over.. Will order the levers end of the month Edit: Also your radiator protector.. Seen lots of gold ones, not silver.
  14. I been looking at these for months as i dont want to fork out £stupid etc. They look decent actually, thinking of getting gold on my bike though.. Keep us updated, if they are good i will order some on payday

  16. When do you usually need to check valves/shims etc. is it after a certain amount of miles. Was going to look at mine, but bike hasnt done massive amount of miles so not sure if its worth it yet.. Edit: Also balancing the carbs..
  17. Hey all, Seen as though my fairings are damaged from some muppet not long ago, i was thinking about getting them sprayed a different colour/s. If i was to change the colour, i know i would need to contact DVLA etc to get logbook changed, but would i need to contact insurance to notify them that its been modified? Does it class as a modification? Also is there anything else i would need to do other than the above? Cheers Rick

    Servicing

  19. I have a scottoiler on my bike and tbh if you fit it nicely and tie it along the inside of the swingarm you dont even know its there. I used silver cable ties to match my frame and to be honest, unless I point it out, its pretty much unnoticeable..

    Servicing

hello all.. Im about to service my bike this week and give it a good once over to ensure everything is ready for the good weather. I was just wondering, what oil and filter would you recommend to use? My bike is a zx6r 2004 b1H. I currently used the rock oil - guardian semi synth from Wemoto and champion oil filter. Wondered if there were any better than this or these are sufficient..? Thanks in advance for your help.. Rick
  21. You will be fine.. Make sure you have eaten something to feed your brain. Relax and take deep breaths, if you werent ready to pass it, you wouldnt be taking it. Be confident in your own ability and you will be fine
  22. Will suit you fine then TC ... right up your alley
