  1. Putting my bike away, wacked my shin or the lawn mower, all 260kg of the bike went to once side couldnt stop it!
  2. I bloody well hope not Thanks for the suggestions. I can try no choke and full throttle and bump starting in a higher gear, but spark plug out is going to be difficult as I do not have the tools. Blue smoke indicates your piston rings have failed easy check is to have the spark plug out see if its oily.
  3. Sounds fooked! engine out job
  4. Cant stand them whining, however, i acknowledge anyone on two wheels. Scooters get a surprise when i nodd like
  5. When I drained some it was never below the minimum amount. Added a small amount oil now sits pefect both hot and cold will be changing it soon anyway. Noise has dissapeared
  6. After draining the oil to the correct level when its running hot. Gearbox feels smoother however its started a annoying high pitch clicking noise at 3,000 RPM dissapears after that and before,

    Oil Overfil?

When I serviced my bike I topped the oil up and started the engine for a few minutes and then the oil level was sat perfect. I noticed once the bikes been running for half an hour the window completely fills, I've ran the bike for a few weeks with no problems. Shud I drain some oil or just leave it? Seems to take an overnight rest before the oil actually settles to the correct level.
  8. Agreed, oil on CGS/YBR with no filter should be changed every 1500 miles imo for it to run as it should. Get an iridium spark plug, may make a difference.
  9. Buster don't make there own chains lol... They are DID. If you want quality get Renthal sprockets and a tsubaki chain.
  10. sure they shud do 60, depends how old the engine is, will lose bhp over time
  11. Sounds about right for garaged rates. Do it urself there two easy fixes
  12. I'd never use them again, take the caliper off push the pads apart then take the pads out (remove two pins depending on what bike) then apply some copper grease little is more. put it all back together and pump the brake. Piss job
  13. i'd buy a haynes manual before you start f*cking about lol.
  14. its a fazer mate they make all kinds of noises go buy how many miles its done.
  15. i had a similar problem with my and the same noise. turned out to be a loose header bolt
  16. RIP Marco big loss to the sport
  17. Amazes me people buying cheap tools to maintain there bike when they run the risk of rounding nuts off and spending expensive garage bills to sort it out
  18. a couple of hp where you wouldnt even notice the difference just spend your time and money on passing your test
  19. Its a rear wheel, the garage will of tightend the nuts right up as they should. From what it sounds like your tools are the problem
  20. No, its views like that thats ruining biking. pfft call yourself a biker.
  21. Get a haf inch wrench then get a pole to get some leaverage on it.. Also helps someone else on the other nut

  24. Standard rear caliper on the 600 are shit, get a fzs thou blue spot caliper, it will fit after some filing
  25. After 1 week of wd40 still one of the nuts snapped. Luckily at the nut, will this be ok to run it with a snapped nut for the time being? i can feel no leaks as such and all 4 pipes seem to heat up the same.
