  1. Ive found the best way to diagnose suspension, ride with a drift camera or other and watch the footage.. simple On my bandit its bouncy and hard to watch, actually got onto customer care about it until i went for a ride on the mrs fazer, tested camera again in different settings, and its way more smooth.. good ole fazer lol Was already ordering new springs this week but now I may look at rear shock settings or buy another.. I didnt put this in pitstop as not asking for help etc just chatting about how the drift has helped.. the only good its done so far.
  2. Turns out the footage is so bad when im on my bike and not my mrs fazer. my suspension must be bouncier than i though as every bump is seen in the footage. yet on the fazer it glides.. wanted to do suspension anyway so now ive an excuse
  3. Guna re ignite this as wanting to do mine, just seen ebc plates too but on ebay saw some ferodo. Im planning on doing springs too and if metal plates look shit will do them. Odd how mine also jumps from 8k in 3 or 4th gear. adjusting helped a little.
  4. Im going to see if they need tightening etc, but looks like to remove them the engine needs to move up to pull them out so hoping its not them now. will also check bar ends are in ok. after that its wheel bearing checks. not a bad job if its them
  5. bottom side? not sure this has those, 3 front and 1 upper back 1 lower back. thought it was an easy fix but engine has to move to put the rubber in place, so going to see if loose etc first. now im hoping its rear wheel bearing lol.
  6. the mounts look like they move a little with the engine, is this normal i cant get to the left nut to tighten. doesnt look right but never looked at it before.
  7. used it today to video bikes will doing photoshoots, had it plugged into a battery bank and it ran all day.. was on a tripod too so curious how smooth the vids will look at 4k.. wasnt windy so mic should have picked bikes up just fine.
  8. was the rear mic as well which is meant to reduce noise, was set to sensitive so also not best idea. didnt know
  9. the sound is terrible isnt it.. wind noise just crazy, no wonder they send a mic.. 2hrs battery as standard, 2.7k 60fps used 20gb card space.
  10. will do if all else fails
  11. carbs? didnt think of that for vibration but id say they would be as it runs sweet, at those speeds there is no lag etc. After a little looking about wheel bearings are an option, just hoping someone had an issue like this and what they looked for or did.
  12. same bar ends ive always had and grips, more curious if the excess vibration caused by something,
  13. I was out today for a long run, we did about 220 miles and also the last time we went out i noticed too. More so today. The grips seem to vibrate more than normal at 65+ I was sat at 70 on the motorway and shut off the engine and pulled clutch in and rolled at 70, and no vibration.. So am i correct to assume this is an engine mount issue? if it was tyres or anything else it would still vibrate when rolling. My other issue is fowlers or wemoto dont seem to list the rubbers or mounts.. cheers
  14. trying to find that. but struggling.
  15. just got some lexins, found some on ebay, they do sound very good and much better
  16. but dont try squires as last week they had 3 or 4 photographers at different parts. Bike routes are good unless you just want to do private shoots.
  17. good stuff on his page mate thanks. looks like il get from that shop.
  18. my thoughts are echoed here to be fair. But as said they could just be new too. so based on that il go with a more known brand as i normally would.
  19. came off on a roundabout due to diesel on my CBT.. proper high side.. got back on and finished it.
  20. my mate owns a versys and a zzr1400 but uses a 125 honda for a commute like yours, mostly due to really good fuel consumption. so a cbt would do you fine until you get the bug for a bigger bike lol
  21. The mrs bike requires a chain and sprocket kit, found a good deal with Kobura chain and JT sprockets. Struggling to find reviews on the chain. DID kit is £35-£40 more but don't mind unless kodura are good.. she doesn't ride erratic or at high speed or track etc.
  22. @Bender makes no sense how the newest camera does so little lol.. the app is decent however id need phone for satnav at time.
  23. ah weird i asked someone they said no, ive got the 4k+ though and im yet to find what the difference is
  24. the 4k doesnt work by remote but does by the app which is on the phone. I was just worried if i start it then set off and for some reason fills the card it will wipe it, but like you said i think its in car mode. only came with a curved mount and i need flat so faffing to get one now.
  25. Do you know if this rewrites the sd card when full or stops? i dont want that but saw a video mention it but cant find it in settings
