Or at least we wouldn't have social media to brag about it

Just found these guys.
Prices are really good both for cars and bikes.
You can download a phone app. They have loads of how to clips.
Motorbike spare parts cheaply in the online motorcycle parts shop (autodoc.co.uk)

Did it once.
Not doing it again.
Although went to an hostel in Poland but had private room with shared bathroom.
Because I wake up very early I had no problem about waiting for someone leaving it.
Still better a Airbnb if touring. Better rates than b&b

If you dismantle the calipers to service the pistons you should have replaced the fluid completely.
For the sound of it you left the old fluid in the brake line which by now have contaminated the new one.
My advice.
get the calipers apart (again) give it a clean (again)
Clean (and service if not done yet) the master cylinder
This for front and rear wheels.
Luckily you don't have a CBS so this is not too hard to do.
Personally I always replace the break fluid with methylated alcohol to give the lines a good clean and then add the new fluid until all is clear and air free.
Depending on the master cylinder shape, it's possible that you will have to turn it in a way that the air trapped in the banjo will go to the reservoir to remove any air from the system.
as said before, some times leaving it over night allows air to go all the ay up and go to the reservoir or stay trapped in the upper banjo.
In case you're wondering, banjo is the connector at the end of the brake line
Repairs on motorbikes always follow the principle that you do it cheap and you will do it twice...

Letter to the MD of renova and puppies, well know of toilet paper.
Let them deal with the details.
Dear sir,
I'm writing to you to help your great company in a well know issue.
Because it seems no solution is at sight, and because indirectly I will be a beneficiary from the idea I require no reward for it.
In short, you have a problem similar to other companies and I'm certain that should you decide to cooperate between yourselves not only both industries would gather great reputation but also an increase of sales.
The idea is in fact a simple one and I'm surprised that nobody have thought of it.
We all know the weak point in toilet paper is how easily tear off in the least opportune moments.
So, why not trade engineers between your company and any packaging counterpart?
I can assure you that not only you would create a more resistant paper while packaging would become far easier to open.
Best regards
Me

Plus the danger of ending on a desert island with no bike?

Another question into the round: How often would you change the oil in forks (miles or years) as it there is no mentioning in the service manual other than check externally for any signs of leakage or wear?
Depends on what parts you change when servicing the forks
Simple oil change I would say every year with service.
If replacing bushes and other parts I would inspect every 2 or 3 years with annual oil change.

By the way.
It's a good thing to be able to download the highway code.
My comment is that an interactive app where you could actually apply what you're learning would be more captive and interesting than just a long text.
Can't see a teenager reading it all the way through.
I wouldn't....

Is that aimed at anyone in particular, or just the general driving/pedestrian public who spend so much time looking at their phones?
As it happens, I just used that link that Fullcreenaging put up, downloaded the Highway Code app.
I never make personal comments unless I'm quoting the person in question
Was actually a general comment aimed at people who spend hours in murderer and genocide games where they don't learn anything else other than how to be violent.
I believe that a game/app where users would actually learn something would be more useful.

Maybe an opportunity for an app.
Learn how to drive instead of wasting time killing all sorts of things.

Food Packaging
It's easier to break in any place, probably to Windsor, than getting the food from plastic packaging.
You almost need a grinder to open a pack of superglued, welded and thermally closed. then place the package on your bench vice and use carbon fiber shears.
Maybe after that you can access the food you have paid for in some kind of lumpy mash...

Some times it pays to be grumpy
My current provider was trying to charge me just under £1500 for energy. Allegedly they didn't charge me 1 year because they (the scottish company who fits smart arse meters) fitted the wrong meters and couldn't make the proper readings.
After endless emails, in one I told them they were a bunch of useless people with the brain of a jellyfish, I just received an email stating the account is now under £600
happy days

Not sure about the GSX's
I run into some trouble bleeding the brakes on the Shadow
The issue with it was a air bubble sitting in the master cylinder.
The only way to get rid of it was to remove the master cylinder and reservoir and tilt it to make the air bubble to escape to the reservoir.
Once that was done the breaks were fine.
-
Can't see what is the problem with a short travel of the break lever.
If the pads are new it is evident the travel distance of the lever is less than when they are near worn stage.
My pan does that and never heard anybody telling me that to be a problem.
Is the guy trying to make some extra quid?

Suspected French thief caught after phone-drop fiasco - BBC News
A suspected thief is in custody in a Paris suburb after dropping his phone during a burglary - and then calling it in an attempt to get it back, French media say.
Le Parisien newspaper says the intruder fled after being surprised by the resident of a Colombes flat on Friday.
The suspect made off with a laptop but lost his phone while running away.
Minutes later, the paper says, he rang his own number and offered to hand back the laptop in exchange for the phone.
When he returned later that morning, the suspect - described as a minor - was arrested by waiting officers.

Have you tried google?
There are loads of them for sale. depends on what type of trailer you want. How many bikes and weights you're thinking of.
