It could well be a faulty float that can have a hole and isn't working anymore.
Or needing adjusted to proper height.
The float valve itself is not sealing properly.
Or as @Simon Davey says.

Hello. Welcome from the other side of the country

If you can wait until near the end of quarter is when the dealers need to make up the sales for the reports.
Almost like car boot sales when the best deals are made near closing time

If you are going all end of days apocalypse may I point out that the availability of petrol is likely to be severely curtailed. Oil refineries are high priority targets and burn very nicely. I'd be looking for a mule myself.
Goats (no pun intended) are much easier to feed and can carry small loads

Why don't you just take it back to the dealer and have them sort it?
Just imagine how much worse it will get in a few years

Good morning.
Friday bike day
Going to work on the shadow

I would think that is more the height than the weight of the bike.
A 1100 shadow is low enough to be handled easily.

I still have to find anything decent enough that can replace my pan 08
Work horse, shaft drive, 250 miles on a tank
All the trims you need on a long touring trip.
Reliable as anything.

An immobiliser won't draw power. It's a passive system that checks the key is in the ignition. On most bikes even the flashing LED goes off after a short time.Β
You tell that to my pan.
That H.I.S.S. takes more power from the battery than an electric shower

Have a look at AliExpress you can get a full set for a very reasonable price.
As long you don't mind waiting for the delivery.

I would have a "Sean Lock" approach and would have ask them if they know they need a driving license before going on the road...

Brand dealers make good money selling new bikes with a good image to the brand by selling loads of new bikes.
Second hand ones are more of a pain to get rid of, plus they have to give you warranty themselves while a new bike the warranty comes from the manufacturer with juicy profits every time they have to action warranty on behalf of the costumer.
Frequently dealers create ghost repairs just to get either free spare parts that were never fitted or additional labour that was never done.
We all know cars are sold a lot more than bikes with both markets going downhill because of the current economy.

One of the most satisfying moments is when you can call some idiot a phoking moron even if it's just in your head and keep going happy that you were clever enough to prevent the interruption of a nice ride because some waste of space and oxygen have no idea what is riding a motorbike.
As above. Safer can be quicker although taking my time to enjoy the trip instead of concentrating on the black stuff and spend the time changing underwear is much more fun.

Gear change from or into 1st is usually done when stopped or near stopped.
That means gearbox is designed to only allow shifting at low rpm both engine and secondary gears (transmission)
By forcing it into gear you just made the bike sigh and probably comment "another one..." .
The bike will forgive you a few faux pas like that as long you don't make it an frequent occurrence.
If shifting is still normal and no strange noises are coming from the engine you will be fine

I quite like the few shows he's on.
The motorbike show is quite good and shows some newish bikes (Although several years old episodes) and nice places to go.
The other show he's on "find it, fix it and flog it.
Is interesting the ideas they have and how silly they can be

If you compare HC with the 1940s B/W crap movies TV shows all the time.
Or repeats of judge Judy from 2008.

Still prefer HC
