You will struggle to keep mice out of anywhere if they want to get in!.. They can squeeze through a hole not much bigger than 1/4 inch!

You say you have Cat A on your licence .. Did you pass your motorcycle test years ago? Does your licence have Cat A with code 79 after it? .. If it has then that means you can ride a trike! As your 54 you can do DAS straight away, pass that and you can ride any bike.

You won't just "skin" your hands if you have a big off .. You'll lose your flesh right down to the bone!

You say starter motor spinning .. Is it turning the engine over? Or is it just the starter motor spinning?

Its simple .. You let her go away for a few days while you have the kids!.. She lets you go off on your bike

Go the DAS route .. Once you have a full licence there's nothing to stop you getting a smaller cc bike for a couple of years for lower insurance costs.

I would suggest taking your CBT first and see if you enjoy motorcycling... If you do then you'll need to take and pass the theory test. After that DAS is the way to go.

Shelf life of 2 stroke oil in a sealed container is 5 years. If opened its down to around 2 years. Mixed with petrol it should be used within 2 or 3 months.

I'm not sure how I could get a large diameter spring inside a spring with a smaller diameter! They look like these but the inner spring I have is about 5/10mm shorter than the outer.

Fitted a centre stand but I'm really struggling to get one of the springs(inner) on as it seems much shorter than the outer spring!

I had a BMW R100rs a few years ago and liked it. .. I decided to change it when it fell over and I couldn't pick it up! I now have 650 V-Strom which I'm happy with!

Wifey retired yesterday so we're flying out to New Zealand this weekend to visit our son. He's working at an adventure place driving jet boats, doing quad bike tours and bungee jumps! I fancy doing two out of the three but there's no chance I'm doing a bungee jump!

Around Mansfield they repair them by chucking in a shovel full of asphalt and stamping it down with their foot!

My understanding is that you will have to display L plates on a geared bike.

The stupid part is that you can do your CBT on an auto bike and ride a manual on L plates! .. The whole system is bonkers!

Allow learners to be supervised by anyone with a full licence like learners in cars! ..
