Looking at the advert it says MOT until SEPTEMBER!.... If you buy it make sure its MOT'd until after September! .. You have plans for early September and don't want any hiccups! -

Head towards a Vstrom specific forum and ask about gearboxes on there. The only thing sloppy about my 650 Vstrom gearbox is the operator! -
Just so you know, there is NO legal requirement for a motorcycle to have mirrors! My first motorcycle never had them and I survived!... Mind you I could twist and turn my neck a lot more back then!

Not me!.. I never really liked scooters .. My mates had scooters and bikes .. I had a car!

Wet belts are a pain!.. Wife's Peugeot 208 has one .. The belt slowly disintegrates and clogs the oil strainer in the sump causing low oil pressure .. supposed to last 60,000 miles .. It lasted 30,000 miles.

A helmet cam won't help if someone runs into the back of you! ... Why not look for a (cheap) front and rear camera that's attached to the bike? -
You say you have failed mod 2 six times .. Why did you fail the other 5 times? ..

For me it would depend on the value of the bike I'm trying to sell!.. Less than £1,000 I'll probably let them have a test ride if I think they're OK. More than £1,000 and I'll probably want cash in hand first.

Time to get my other eye done now!... Driving at night has become a real problem for me this winter so after a trip to the optician last week I was referred to the local clinic for an assessment .. Dr signed the forms today and I'm now on the waiting list for surgery.

If you have the room then keep it and sort it at your leisure .. If its sorn and off road there's no need to insure it so it costs you nothing! Having lived in the wop wops in New Zealand I always liked to have a reserve form of transport available when the daily driver had a problem!

This was my introduction last year .. I loved every minute of it! .. Some days with the group, others on my own. Very much looking forward to going again this year.

I doubt there would be much difference between now and January.. You could try and bargain with them now and if they won't play ball leave them your phone number and tell them you'll think about it.

I'm old fashioned and prefer the foot-pounds measure for how tight nuts should be!.. It gives me a much better rough guide that I can visualize!

I have the flu and covid jab every year!... Same arm, same day and never had a problem!

Just go for the one you really fancy!... Get a test ride if you can and if you like it and can afford it then buy it!
