  1. check vacumm hose that runs from just in front of number one carb on left of engine to fuel tap as it sounds like the vacum has stop, check to make sure hose is on correctly at both ends and it hasnt split or perished,if it is then the diaphram in the fuel tap might of given up
  2. the pipe you are sucking on is the vaccumm pipe it will connect to the engine just in front of the carb somewhere onto a small brass fitting and pipe 1 is the feed from tank to carb
  3. speedo will be cable driven off the front wheel tacho is electronic and gets its pulse from wither the cdi or the coils,if reg/rectifer has melted then best start checking voltage output at battery
  4. donnie you will sometimes get small hissing but if it is loud hiss then it might be time to check the cap as that is where the breather is for the tank but if bike is perfoming ok then it is possibly not causing a problem
  5. if the cap is fine then it would be worth changing spark plug or you could of dragged a bit of muck out the bottm of the tank when you ran out of fuel but start with the easy things
  6. first thing to look at is the fuel cap and make sure the breather isnt blocked if you can get the bike to start run it untill it cuts out then open fuel cap if you hear a big hiss then the breather is blocked, when was the last time it had a new spark plug or air filter clean?
  7. best dig deep into your pockets then or hope it hasnt gone right through when you get there
  8. the shop will be able to tell you if it is plugable or not as they can only normally be used in main tread area not sidewalls or close to it

    Help

sounds like the battery isnt getting any charge or not holding a charge you need to check out if there is power going to the battery there should be 12volts on tickover and roughly 14 when revving just make sure rearwheel is off the ground when you rev it.is the kick start turning the engine over but bike wont start if so this is because batery is flat,if its not turning engine over then there is a problem inside the main casing
