  1. i thought the idea was to get the back tyre on the point of locking and skipping to help it slide round the corners..........................but on a more realistic note as others have said braided hose doesnt flex like rubber ones so it will be firmer and more positive so dont press it as hard

  2. proper polishing soap and a mop that fits in a drill is one way or depending on how good you want it you can use something like 2000 grit wet and dry paper with some solvol on it but dont just go backwards and forwards you have to do various directions or it will just score the wheel in the end something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alloy-Wheel-Polishing-Kit-8pc-Aluminium-Wheel-Polishing-Mops-Kit-POL07-/400847624289?hash=item5d54615861:g:A7MAAOSwVL1V~YFZ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; that kit is just for an idea but gives a clue what to look for

  3. Still have it but my cbt has run out and I refuse to do another one until I can do full license. Hopefully next year but I have to choose between new car or license!!

    nothing to stop you rolling up in the car for a bit of fun i have had to do it more than once and it means that while all the others go on the ride out you can relax and have a beer

  4. I'm hoping to have a bigger bike by then but I may just keep hold of the Keeway just to antagonise [emoji38]

  5. i have no idea of anyone who can help but there is plenty out pointers on the web saying they have fuel pump problems so i would go for that rather than the injector and they are not to hard to replace

  6. its amazing how chatting to people both on and off the forum here i was offered an extremely generous offer from one member to help me out which i was extremely grateful of and very nearly took them up on the offer made and then last night i was talking to a mate on facebook that i havent seen for nearly 30 years about situation i was in and next thing i knew they had bailed me out and without wanting anything in return,so to say i think i have some bloody good friends both on and off here is an understatement and it will be forever a pleasure to be able to call them friends

  8. yes thats for treating the inside of the tank if you have got areas that the tank has rusted through or has heavy rust on the outside then give it a poking about to make sure its not going to turn into holes and you will need to either replace the tank or find someone who is capable of doing a good job of repairing it im sure gautrek can help with names for that job if needed

  9. welcome to the forum and yes rust inside the t ank can be a big problem with it flaking and blocking fuel tap fuel line and carb easy way to sort it out if the tanks is still structurally sound is to use a tank sealant petseal is one such make http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Petseal-Ultra-Petrol-Tank-Sealant-For-Motorcycle-Fuel-Petrol-Tanks-260ml-/401084818775?hash=item5d6284a557:m:mIeOOYk68RGJIXTzrOMuxkg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
