  2. i gave up properly ...............just put a cig out one night and never lit another went from over 20 a day to nothing over 4 and half years ago now i never bothered with vape or anything else

  3. I've decided I'm going as a fat biker as my fancy dress.

    Why is it fancy I hear you ask?

    i went as one of the hairy bikers a few years ago.............just went as myself

  4. not sure why it would have the problem then but they should of not been paid as they seem to have created a problem that didnt exist before and i would be telling them to refit the original engine and refund any money paid for the engine they fitted as something is not right somewhere with it

  5. first things first then compression check because if it done that after changing engine but before changing any other parts it could be low compression valve gap need resettinig cam timing out the list is fairly big to be honest but compression check would be a good starting point

  6. Got there early but had to leave early also :roll:

    Was that 'original' Indian Scout still there when you arrived Ollie? That is the first one I've ever seen with twin leading shoe front brakes - and it said it was totally 'original' :shock:

    its not original but is not a cheap conversion either http://www.zorros.net.au/INdian%20CHIEF%20TWIN%20LEADING%20FRONT%20SHOE%20CONVERSION" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

  7. personally i wouldnt try touching the headers with body skin because if the pipe is hot it might end up with skin stuck to it and that smells nasty as it burns off,i tend to use a fine spray of water as you can give each pipe an equal amount and see if it dissipates at the same rate

  8. if unsure about the spark you can always push finger into plug cap to check spark................if when you turn the engine over on the start button you suddenly leap around cursing with your hair stood on end....................then the spark is fine :mrgreen:

  9. you say you put new fuel in it but did you check the tank was clean and rust free ?have you stripped the carb down and made sure the jets are not blocked from old fuel going to gel like state ?and the video answers the question ...you know it has not seized because its turning over,my betting is its fuel related problem remove the plugs and tip a few drips of fuel into each cylinder refit plugs and turn it over then and see what happens
