i wont be heading out until about 11am but i will be there...................hopefully
-
well im planning on being there on the tatty thing that makes other harley owners cry as i never wash it

I thought this "fix" would cause it to fail MOT.
Engine management light is now part of the MOT.
I would definitely reject his car and demand a full refund. You just don't want to be dealing with a garage that is prepared to do this.
A friend of mine had a car that had the ABS system "fixed" with a timer box that illuminated the ABS light when the ignition was turned on then turned it off after a few seconds so it looks OK. He had an accident that may have been avoided of the ABS had worked. Cost him his no-claims and £1000 to get the ABS fixed.
eml is only a advisory as it could one of any number of things bring it on including glow plug failure(which not being part of the mot they cant fail)

here you go ollie http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/living-nature-badger-soft-toy-/262655883654?hash=item3d2782b986:g:YwoAAOSwtnpXjj1m" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

i just replaced the fuel line on the harley i went to local supplier and got hose with black braid over it all the numbers are correct for fuel and fuel injection so it will withstand pressure and for the length i wanted he just cut off what i needed and let me have it for free as its not very long and looks nicer than plain black rubber hose...............i found this firm in peterborough http://www.desihose.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

they are normally to tight to undo very easily so it is a scary thought
-
remove top box .....................less wind drag no clunking might even go 2mph faster

Early Bandits (600 and 1200) have 6mm internal diameter lines. However, you are better off buying pre-made lines (with the end fittings) rather than building your own (the crimp has to be VERY good).
crimped fittings? i thought it was a simple length of hose on them with a security clip on the end or small jubilee clip
-
not totally sure but i would of thought 6mm or 8mm
-
or a buckled wheel?
-
stu shouldnt you change the postponed bit in the title again now
-
i should be ok for this hopefully and if its dry i will even be on the bike for a change
-
take it for a 20 mile or more run that will put some charge back into it if it does it again then you need to get multi-meter out and start testing battery and power draw on trying to start up
-
no idea never fitted them but if they say no jetting is required then they normally know what they are on about to be honest
-
no idea to be honest measure the distance of the ears on the stands see if they match
edit..................and looking at the prices of a 2nd hand stand for the 750 (there isnt one made for the 535) i would just get a paddock stand and use that then if you ever sell the bike you still have the stand to use on the next bike if needed

Put a dob of lipstick on the nubbin and press it on the bar where you want the switch gear to sit.

-
no idea i know the rear downpipe seperates i think you would have to gt under there and have a look for any clamps to seewhere it splits
-
yep common problem on them replace it or at t he very least drop it off give it a good wire brushing if it doesnt then fall apart give it a good coating of a heat proof paint it will give it a bit longer life then or if you can weld any places it does rot through just weld a plate over it
-
that looks like the wire is still in the cap as you should be able to see a spike in there buy a new cap solve the problem
-
that looks like the version that was made in india for a few years might explain the differences and where have you checked for the vin number as it should be stamped into the right hand side of the headstock and be the same number on the v5 and im fairly sure you can search t he number on different websites once you confirm you are entering the correct number this might help http://motorcycle-vin.weebly.com/honda-vin-locations.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
