Took the 1st one available and Test rebooked this time for Farnborough even further away! and another place I've never been...6am start for a 9am test...anyone done theirs here ?

The ones nearish to me (LHR airport) are all around that price which is rock up...drive to test centre and do the test

What does anyone think I should do...have the chance to rebook mod 2 with same school same bike for £300 but I wasn't as keen or comfortable on the z650 as I was the mt 07 that I did my mod 1 on... but the mt07 school as £600 as need to do 2 days as I don't fail with them .. failing is so expensive!

What was annoying on my missing the one way street sign is he told me to ignore the no entry sign as we went to turn left and within 5 yards was the 1 way sign !

They did we spent all day yesterday there but tbh I could have been anywhere yesterday as was concentrating so much.!

Failed my mod 2 earlier today in mitcham London... 2 serious faults one being I was positioned on the left on one way street whilst making a right turn ( I hadn't realised it was a 1 way street as I turned into left into it ) Other one was a failure to do a left lifesaver when changing lines...can't argue with that one tbh ... Never been to that area before and after yesterday and today arm shoulders and wrists are killing ! Other student also failed somewhat harshly going 20 in a 30 zone as missed the sign change to go from 20 to 30.... Did it on a Kawasaki z650 which I didn't like as much as the mt07 that I did my mod 1 on. Having a few days off now to regroup

Don't the school do re tests ?

Bikes don't really seem to lose value from what I've seen so even if you did buy a lower cc bike I guess you won't lose money on it What did you fail on ?

I also hate mod 1...my figure of 8 was toilet

Thanks getting a mod 2 booking is almost impossible everywhere is chocka block even went out as far as Oxford and no joy !

Passed my mod 1 today in Uxbridge...have been on my 125 for a year and did 2 days training for mod 1 today and yesterday...tbh my figure of 8 were cack and I wasn't really that confident. Got 2 minors 1 for my figure of 8 were as wide as hell and I missed last come but decided to take the minor rather than hit the cone and another for going slow round bend...anyway so glad it's over I hate hate hate figure of 8 and I hope I never have to do one again Not sure when mod 2 is as it's booked up but Uxbridge is so busy round there ! Must lose loads of test time waiting at temp lights

Will they actually ask for the CBT though

Some of these schools are so quick to dump you off a 125 onto a scooter they have zero patience

There will be a 2nd hand market for years to come for petrol bikes but I'd have an electric one but it would need to be massively massively more affordable

On my CBT the instructor said there's no difference safety wise between a £50 helmet and a £500 helmet....no idea if it's true tbh

I was a rubbish driver after my CBT and even ditched my bike after about a week but 6 months later I feel much more competent.the problem with changing the CBT is that maybe it'll put people off bothering and surely we don't want to put people off biking we want more getting on 2 wheels.

For some reason lots of theory test slots have suddenly become available this morning

Had my theory for march and now rebooked it for June... everything else was gone
