  1. Why didn't you just do mod 2 on a 500 then ride any bike (das)?
  2. on my test in sept i didnt have to follow behind the instructor on slow ride. i had to ride from one set of cones to another. it was easy as pooiie
  3. so glad im doing my module 2 in april this is getting silly.
  4. i got that question wrong on the theory when i took it.
  5. 100% have to do a bike one. car one doesnt cover it. some of the questions do vary from the car theory but mostly all comon sense
  6. im asuming it will be like in a car, if slowing down shift to appropriate gear then move off again. if coming to a stop and have time downshift properly not just relying on breaks but engine breaking also. if coming to a "sudden" stop then down shift all the way clutch in at all times. thats prob what i will do when i pass any way.
  7. i found mod 1 quite easy in all honesty. i have mod 2 booked for april and for some reason im really nervous. i think its because of the way i dropped the bike on the road on mod 1 training. im sure after my mod 2 training though it should be a breeze. (i hope)
  8. Think I just saw the gang going down limpsfield road in croydon. Well jelous

  14. Hi guys, Ok I dont know why I need to ask this maybe im over thinking but as you guys must be aware I do that quite a lot as i get nervous when doing tests etc. On top of that I just want to be as safe and as good a rider I can be. Any way i've done theory, cbt and passed mod 1. I'm doing mod 2 early next year. I just want to know when comming to a stop i.e. at traffic lights or a junction when slowing down do I just hold the clutch in and down shift of should I release the clutch when going down through each gear? Tbh I can't remember what i've been doing but probably a bit of both depending on how fast i've had to stop and not judging the speed as well as I possibily should. Regards
  15. ok what does that do? im asuming its just a fuse holder/casing
  16. excuse me for being thick but if you wire the lighter socket straight into the battery. will it drain the battery if nothing is plugged into it or will it only use power with something "live" plugged in?
  17. ah ok. in that case i cant help you but im sure some one else can. hope it all works out
