Well i finished the bike clean project, took quite a few hours, x2 layers carnuba wax one followed by x2 layers of Jetseal (this stuff is amazing) 1 layer of auto shine followd by blackening out all the black. It looks amazing.

Hmmmm. I'll tell you the problem them maybe you could offer some advice. I found the ride to be bumpy at the rear insofar as my posterior (not sure on the swearing filter) would bounce out of the seat. So reading up i read to adjust the rear shock a couple of turns and give it a test ride. From what you say about the rebound adjustment, would it be better to just turn that more to S?

I need to go buy another adjuster tool thing then, yikes more ** money...

No idea what it was but it was very very hard to get off. (edit) i think he ran over something as the spray was all down the right hand side and underneath only. I just need to do the wheels now then blacken out all the black plastic and give it a good waxing followed with some season protection and jobs a good un! Should be ready for the 22nd!

(Me again) I tried to adjust the rear shock today following some instructions downloaded from the www as i never got the actual manual when i bought it. And apologies for the explanation but I will try! I have attached two images one is the rear screw (A) the other is the other side (technical eh?) call them adjuster (B) & Locking nut (A) The problem as I see it is the top two rings one is the adjuster (B) the other is the locking mechanism (A), when I tried to loosen the locking nut (A) the adjuster & the whole shock absorber rotated with it resulting in the whole shock spinning around at its connection point to the rear screw (A). It did actually move and the actual coil (A+B) moved one 360 rotation up the thread. Also what is the screw (A) for? What am I doing wrong?

I voted for the top one as it gives more visibility (I'm paranoid like that). I just got hold of some Spyke kangergoo leathers 2 piece, feel and fit like a glove, very happy. Good luck with trying them on, pain to find a retailer who either A has all the stock & B willing to allow you to try them on. BB

Ok my fingers are worn down to the bone with all the rubbing but the end result was worth the *cough* 7hrs non stop grind! I started with the autosol which just never shifted and ended up using the original T-Cut and a medium rough waxing mitten cut into smaller sizes to help agitate the rubbing compound. Pictures 12 to 15 show the before condition the 'freckles' are from an unknown source, came with the bike when i bought it 2nd hand. After.. The final result i am happy with and tomorrow i will lay on some carnuba wax and some Meguire's auto shine, so i will never have to scrub the thing ever again! BB

I just bought the md80 off ebay form China for £7 inc p&p - reviews on Youtube state its good quality so it will do till i have enough free pennies to get the upgrade. Not sure how or where to mount it, ideally the helmet but wait and see. Cheers BB

Can i stretch the leather to fit my calf's? Boot space is perfect but my calf's are huge and the leather is very tight. Recommend shower on hot? Then let them dry while wearing them? BB
