  6. For cleaning your visor & helmet for that matter, the best way i have found is to use your tongue as the acid in the saliva destroys the chemical toxins in the dead bugs thus enabling you to clean it easier without using toxic products. A simple wipe down with a clean cloth finishes the job.! BB
  7. http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/606/wtfal.gif or depending how you look at it! http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s241/craigofscotland/yourdadnewpa4.gif That will do (for now)
  8. Not looking good Dr Watson!
  9. If you don't have £60 spare or your leathers/fabric just needs a wipe down then check the manufacturers label inside to see if you can wash them (fabrics) and ensure you take out all the protection etc. If its leather then i use beeswax and have done since the Army day's. Cleans and protects leather, you need to spend some time working it into the leather but time spent preparing saves time spent cleaning in the future.
  10. Hmmm so when its towards the label the bike sits lower? I had it pretty much 3 rings towards the label, felt lower and went over some rough road and if i hadn't of chilled out i would of been bounced off.. Two people, that will require friends won't it? Cheer's Stu! BB
  11. Stu, Sorry mate, did you post before or after i edited my post? I had to visualize what responses i had actually got!
  12. edit::::: it's a bang everytime i go over a bump i get jolted out of the seat. When i turned the screws al the way to the end i.e. to as close to the yellow warning label as possible it was horrible it felt like the bike was lower too and then it was a boooooiiinnnggggg everytime i went over anything... So turning them back to where the picture shows made it still bang but no where bad as where i adjusted it. http://themotorbikeforum.co.uk/download/file.php?id=6546 Ref the screw i turned it 4 clicks to 'S' should i adjust that more ? .. Ref your write up, sincere apologies but i cannot learn from reading i have to learn from physically doing, there is terminology for it but.... BB
  13. I have a horrible feeling you was right, what a day it was too!
  14. Well i opened the spring all the way so there were no rings visable and took it out tonight and i bounced around like Tigger on a spring board, stopped and put it back to where it was originally and thought i don't know enough to be safe and left it as it is. More research required.. Fun?!!!?
  15. The last time i went camping was a good 15 years ago and it was i nthe lakes, tent x2 and it cost us £5 for the night inc access to toilets showers etc. If it's a tent & two people can i get a discount as it's only me? BB

I had no camping gear at that time that i would be able to carry, which has been resolved now No fear with it being worth it I'm just shocked they charge such prices for a piece of grass, i hope they have plenty of wood for the camp fire!!
