Yeah we did. Also took it to another local bike mechanic shortly after the chain was fitted to get new brakes fitted and he also checked and adjusted the chain at the same time and never raised any issues :/

Some time ago we fitted a new chain/sprockets on the gsxr. The guy who is doing it posted these pictures on his FB of an example of why people shouldn't do DIY jobs on their bikes (his comments are in the quote boxes). He hasn't said its my bike but I can tell that it is (tax disc holder gave it away!) When we realised that bike needed new chain/sprockets the advice from everyone was 'DIY', I wasn't aware that this was a problem that could occur esp when using the recommended tool. It didn't say on the instructions nor on any of the tutorials/videos I watched on how to fit chains :/

Hopefully picking my gsxr up this week after sending it off to get serviced/mot'd... decided I should probably try on my bike trousers seeing as I've not actually had them on since about August... can't even get them on! F**CK IT!!! Time to start taking the healthy eating and gym attendance seriously again (assuming work doesn't get in the way, which is why that went out the window in the first place)

Absolutely dreading going to work tomorrow. Thats unfortunate. Is the guy looking for more money for you to go back and complete the CBT another day? If not then maybe worth doing the GetOn scheme if possible and then returning when his bad attitude is less likely to knock your confidence. If he is looking for more money I'd cut your losses and go elsewhere.

On completion of your CBT you can ride a 125 on the road (excluding motorways and not allowed to carry a pillion) with L plates, if you want to ride a bigger bike you will need to do your full bike test.

The ******* idiot van driver who forced me onto the hard shoulder this morning because he wanted to occupy the space I was in. You'd think hearing my horn go as soon as he started to move would have stopped him but no, I was all but a tyres width away from being completely on the hard shoulder (I was in the car) before he noticed.

I have a caberg trip which has a sun visor which was meant to be removable, I never managed though and just had to try and clean it while it was in place :/ good luck!

Approaching a junction, 2 cars in front of me. Both those cars go into the right hand lane and I stay in the left. Both lanes go right. There is no left turn allowed and there is no straight on. After turning right the left hand lane can then take a left or continue straight on. Light goes green. Me and the car next door (a taxi) move off. Rather than continuing in his lane he drives straight over into mine (which had me in it), no indicators, nothing. Just went. Missed me only because I could sense an idiot nearby. He then proceeded to take the left turn. He was the car at the front, there was no reason at all for him not to have gone in the left hand lane to start with!!! It is a fairly busy road (centre of Glasgow) and it is very unlikely that there WON'T be cars in both lanes going forward >:[ Apparently its the season for them, think its time to get the GoPro on the dash!

Nob of the day is mr white van man on the motorway coming home, I was in the overtaking lane passing 3 cars who were quite close together. Not enough space to pull in between them and anyway I'd have had to slow by about 20mph to do so!! I was just passing the 2nd one when mr white van man comes so close behind me all I can see in my rear view mirror is his front bumper and bonnet and starts flashing me to move over! What on earth did he expect to achieve by doing this?
