  1. Me too! i think thats part of the reason he was swearing at me... Depends what vehicle I'm in! If it's the bus then they are reversing I did that going under a bridge near here, its a straight section of road with the bridge in the middle that only one car can get through at a time, it was my right of way and I got the bridge first anyway but she still decided she was going to try her luck. I just put the handbrake on and sat there. She gestured, I pointed at the right of way sign.. repeat a few times. Eventually she reversed and let me through, much to the amusement of the man in the car behind her who had seen it happen and was having a good old chuckle. I was sure to thank her as I passed
  2. Not been out on the bike yet, but here is a video I made of the buns in slow motion ">
  3. Mine is completely random and meaningless :/
  4. A user on here did it a while ago and wrote a review viewtopic.php?f=47&t=43799&p=728582#p728582 I wonder where she disappeared to :/
  5. Having a similar dilemma with the vfr... 17yr old fairings are not easy to replace if you get it wrong... or slide it down the road Have r&g bungs on the gsxr and they saved the fairing when it got blown over in the wind, but the panels on that conveniently have holes where they go!
  6. Yeah been looking at them on the website. I'm a short arse so unfortunately the camera wouldn't see over the screen! I'm sure I'd find someplace to mount it, there certainly are enough types of mount for it
  7. Thinking about bike cams again! We have a voucher for £100 off a gopro which is tempting as it puts the gopro hero 3 black edition at £260 which includes waterproof housing and remote (or the silver edition at 180 but that doesn't include the remote which is £80 so worth getting the black if just for the remote). For the drift alternative it would be £295 which includes a remote but not waterproof housing (although thats not too important as I've not been diving in years and its waterproof without to 3m anyway). I'm put off the gopro as it couldn't really be helmet mounted. I have stick on lugs for my lid that I use on charity rides and the drag from them is bad enough at motorway speeds. I like that it can be chest mounted, although I am not sure how good a view that would provide on a faired bike with a smoked double bubble screen! The drift can be shoulder mounted with a similar harness. The gopro does hd slow motion which I think would be really cool. Also claims low light performance, not sure how that compares with the drift. :/
  8. Belated happy birthday Iain, hope you had a good day!
  9. Nothing stopping him. If you mean in terms of insurance then only if he is actually is the main driver of the 125. If not then that is fronting which is illegal.
  10. I probably am, I go for a right over your shoulder look, I was never taught life savers by my instructor but it's something I knew I should do so did them as I thought they should be done... If you google motorcycle blind spot or similar you can find pics that will give you an idea where your blind spots are. The way my instructor showed me was with me on the bike she stood behind me to one side where I could see her in the mirrors and then walked forward until I could no longer see her.
  11. I don't wear glasses, but wondering if you are maybe trying to look too far round for your lifesavers?
  12. Up to the individual, personally I didn't bother getting a 125cc and that was the right decision for me. Riding around on a 125cc doesn't necessarily mean that the training to pass your test will cost less as you may be picking up bad habits etc without realising it (unless you are continuing with lessons whilst having 125cc/have someone who can offer guidance).
  13. My first challenge pic of the year http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y222/iiisecondcreep/Bikey/Challenge%20100%202013/IMG_0762_zps3a27579c.jpg
  14. Er..... I've fallen off a pushbike at <5mph and had very bloody knees and hands, I dread to think what would happen at 30mph
  15. Looks like a good day, hope you and the bike weren't hurt in the off!
  16. Earlier this week picture was posted in a newspaper of a guy driving along the motorway (M8 nr Glasgow) playing a car racing game on an ipad whilst driving http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scott ... ng-1888617 Fortunately the picture caught the attention of the police
  17. Hello, I think I have just responded to this on RU
