I'm now in a really bad mood... according to every seller on ebay the bandit 600 s 00-03 is a H4 bulb which is what I bought. Having taken them out it turns out I need a HB4 (9006) and a HB3 (9005).. f**k sake.
Aye. I can confirm, the manual states it takes HB3 for high beam and HB4 for low... Whatever that means
Just read that now in both Haynes and the Original Manual
Cheers b

So my old bulbs werent very good so I had a look online and found out my bike takes H4 bulbs... So I bought some Philips x-treme vision +100% bulbs... So they arrived this morning and I took out my old bulb and its different? Can somebody shed some light onto wtf just happened Its a 2001 Bandit 600 S (S is important because it has a different headlight. The actual bulb glass bit of them look the same but everything else looks different :/

Nice work alex
But there is only one bandit called betty

Right so I was coming back down the motorway on Friday night and I was being flashed by every lorry that I went past. I pulled over to have a look at what I could see. Both of my rear lights were not working . Both brake lights are working even though they are duel filament bulbs. Looked at the fuse box and none of the fuses have blown and also replaced both bulbs even though the filaments looked intact.
Run out of ideas now, anybody?

Mine does it, I thought it was the valve clearances but even after they were done it still does it. I asked about it and had a look at a few different bandits and its normal...

How much you looking to spend?
I had a 10' Rieju RS2 50 Pro and it was fantastic, you could get a older one of those and tinker away...? or maybe a Aprilia Rs50.

Has it not got electric start? :/
EDIT: Manual choke?

Well Done
-
I swapped to some sintered pads and braided lines on and it was a lot better.
-
Still got standard brake lines on? And don't suppose you know how old the brake pads are? You might not be able to make it as good as the Xj but I reckon you could make it better

I shall be there..

I'm not the only silly one... every single seller on ebay claim that H4's will fit
I can assure you that a old gas lamp would have probably have been brighter...
