  4. Still stopping at squires on the way up, just not sure on times yet
  5. if money is that tight, then wait a bit longer and save some pennies...yes training is important... if not in how to ride, then at least in how to pass the test....will save you in the long run , as retests can soon mount up
  6. I think Derek ( acting strange )will be back off his hols and in touch tomorrow
  7. forum meet up at some point on Monday ?????
  8. oh , bugger, puck?? do we have to ride on grass to park up ?????? ( just checking so I can panic in advance) oh and beer order sent via face book.....meal choices sound fine...just don't forget chocolate for the girlies lol

  10. Chiras 2002 er5 , the bike seems to be running fine, has just had a full oil and filter change, and flew through MOT with no advisories, but after a run to matlock on sunday , ( last part of which was stuck in slow traffic) noticed the fan running for a while after shutting off the engine. is this normal ? or should I be checking something ??
  11. what have pads got to do with fluid levels ( or am I just being a girl here)
  12. planning on meeting at squires sometime around early afternoon/lunchtime Friday. shame you cant make the whole weekend TC, wont be the same without you
  13. mod 2 passed...took her bike for mot this morning and it sailed through...tax tomorrow, and its freedom ....ride safe chick
  14. great videos, very informative and well worth a watch, especially for newer riders...will sit chira down in front of them later
  15. highly doubt it, as if they did believe you then you'd be guilty of breaking the law by riding it there
  16. wouldn't mind popping down , but depends how early I can get out of work
  17. all the schools I priced up cbt with charged the same price whether you did it in a day , or had to come back for a 2nd try...seems rather unfair to charge you if the instructor didn't even give you the time you had paid for
  18. why cant you come moo?? get your arses up here Thursday night and ride in convoy with us on Friday, can do the same coming back, its a bank holiday Monday, so stop over at ours, we could even accompany you part of the way back down
  19. do my donnington pics count....I rode there, and rode on track...owen took the awesome pics, some very personalised angles , and interesting shots
  20. good luck, just try to relax and enjoy it, its over in a flash
  21. ouch, glad youre ok and not too much damage to the bike. we got 3 really good dry sessions, then the heavens opened in the fourth, did about 3 laps , then decided I actually couldn't see so called it a day, not worth it.the lightening was slightly offputting too
  22. No such thing as an unsuitable bike. I give you exhibit A also spotted at Donington yesterday [album]753[/album] You're not trying to break lap records, you're learning what you and what your bike can do and that guy had his arse off and knee on the floor after lunch, despite the rest of his body remaining completely upright throughout
  23. if anything will improve your cornering, a track day will...and you can do one on any bike
