I can beat that...
3 sets of panniers....2 topboxes.. 3 tank bags... 1 tail pack..3 tents... 4 sleeping bags... 4 bed rolls... 4 peoples clothes and fancy dress... cooker, pans , boots, clothes, waterproofs, and pillows... oh and then theres the make up... god help us
And out of that, I have to fit, 1 set panniers, top box, tank bag. 2 tents? Three bed rolls, 2 sleeping bags (+blankets and pillows) and all my clothes and fancy dress on my bike =P
Have to say I'm definitely going to notice the restrictor this week..
yeah it might keep you a bit nearer the speed limit... you wont be doing 110 with that lot on
-
and most of that getting split between a tiny 24 year old 400, and a restricted er5, lol
-
f**k knows how I'm going to get all my stuff on a 125...
ha.you think you have a problem... you want to see the amount of shit in my living room waiting to be loaded onto 3 bikes.....now that's just not funny
I have a tent, sleeping bag, hiking back pack and a rucksack, oh and my tank bag, filled with shite which I don't think I'll even need
Also wearing full leathers and boots, I'm going to have to keep the revs at a bare minimum to make sure I make it there!
Will post a picture as soon as I've got it all on
And you're all cager w**kers!

When approaching the venue, the river is on your right, the pub is on the left.
Do NOT!!! turn left into a caravan site! that is nothing to do with us.
Either go and ask in the pub or speak to someone from TMBF to see where to pitch up.
The lane down to the pub is narrow! twisty! and slippy! Beware!
oh yay...twisty and slippery... possibly in the rain, on a supersports loaded to hell...and very little touchdown...cant wait
-
if I had a baby ncr im sure I'd consider it
I will be on the babyblade...cbr400rr
-
stu....what kinda time can we turn up on site ??

12v socket with a dual usb car charger plug....works fine for me
-
Ollie, does your phone have a usb cable charger ? if so I may be of some use
-
why not just pick up a 12v socket from you local motor shop , its a 5 minute job to fit , and costs about 4 quid
-
however if you get the socket and wiring , i'll gladly fit them for you if its too difficult
:P
-
there'll only be one tmbfer plugging into my socket , and it aint none of you lot
-
Any dirty takeaways around for evening? Can't live without my weekly takeout ...... Om nom nom also do we have access to charge phones and sat navs
fit a 12v socket to your bike....simples
-
her tents waterproof, just the bag it comes in isnt
-
i also believe i have another 2 anchor points close to the wheel's, like a round bobbin.
if people are not sure what this is ill take a picture.
nooooo, don't use those
-
I have a large dry sack from sports direct, karrimoor one, its brilliant and well worth getting hold of one
-
pillion footpeg hangers are a good anchor point, and check if your bike has any anchor points under the tail.
as Ollie said....black bag everything , tightly.
make sure the wider items ( probably the tent ) are on the bottom, and anchor everything down to the bike, then pop the cargo net on top
-
lets just say Chiras idea of safely packing the bike after the rally we did last weekend was to tape everything straight to the bike....and I had to follow her home
-
Get some 'gaffer tape' from Halfrauds (use your discount code) and if all else fails, tape it in place!
Gaffer tape works wonders to keep stuff on the bike! Although rather annoying to undo if you tape in on top of tje bungees and cargo net xD
that wasn't even close to funny
-
now that's a bloody awesome idea
-
nice one Ollie... im already attempting to pack enough gear on 3 bikes for 4 people , plus 3 lots of camping gear..... involving a lot of kneeling on panniers , and bouncing up and down... interspersed with copious amounts of sweating and swearing in turn , ;lol
