and now i've read the definition of 'pegging', maybe i'll leave the mallet at home and pack something else instead
be afraid....be very afraid

I do not think I will have fancy dress, I am touring for 5 days prior to the meet and space is at a premium.
body paint doesnt take up much room, and you can create anything you fancy
-
errr.i ..uh... had no idea ...
-
glad you're getting there and feeling better about the whole thing, I think wanting to give them a gift for all the extra attention is a lovely idea, so if its something you want to do, go for it.
-
if you're having matching costumes does that mean I have to include you both in the pegging down initiation ceremony ???
-
having a family ride out up to squires, via powerhouse to get new shiny pistons for my calipers so I can get pretty babyblade back on the road. Will be the first time ive ridden the R6 since I discovered the joys of having both feet on the floor

I happen to know someone who's awesome at vinyl wrapping , if you decide to go down that route....could probably get you a price if you're seriously interested
-
I'd wear a mini skirt if I were you. Easier to pee when you're left pinned in a field all night
awww tiggie , you've ruined the surprise now
-
of course its not compulsory , and you could choose to not wear fancy dress.... but then theres the chance you may have a forfeit... which could possibly involve tent pegs and a very large mallet
.... which could also happen anyway
-
I have very little imagination and can't think of a costume to wear!
it is customary for men to dress in drag, and in your first year you are expected to wear something with a burlesque theme , and preferably 6 inch heels
-
and you never know, if I can get the brakes sorted and plant a money tree I might still change my mind
-
thought you weren't going?
-
nothing wrong with high heeled bike boots... I have an awesome pair of malicia boots myself, ( but don't ride in them ).
unfortunately the heels I used to wear were nothing more than high fashion stillettos lol
-
the 'possibly some boots' worries me the most.....I personally advocate all the gear, but after gloves and helmet , boots of some kind would be top of my list.... road rash is nasty as all hell.... but you wont get far with no ankles.
and this is from someone who learnt to ride back in the 80's wearing shorts and high heels with no helmet
-
not looking likely for me now, the brake calipers were in a much worse state than I expected when I fitted my new discs, and its turned into an even more expensive job than I was hoping for
-
gun gum sets hard and then becomes brittle , not ideal for what you're describing
-
isn't lambada some kind of latin American dance ???....confused
-
fingers crossed for you, just relax and enjoy it
-
we're not definites yet... depends if it looks like a big enough group for the discount... also depends on time off work, and whether funds allow.... and whether I can still sneak onto a novice day
-
come on guys, lets get 2 more in on this for the discount
-
should have read the op properly deso... with you , mr fro , me and ohjay that's 4 ... only one short of a decent discount......never mind eh
-
ooh this is starting to look like it could be quite good fun
-
i think they specify novice as having done no more than 3 track days, but I doubt everyone there fits that rule tbh
-
id bloody love to, but a. probably cant afford it, and b. probably cant get the time off

I'd start with the speedo cable... obvious and cheap
