  4. Absolutely, but you can shred em & then spend ages investigating the clutch, d'oh I heard about one snapping. Is that the same as shredding? The bike immediately red-lined and rolled to a stop. The belt had snapped and rolled off the rear sprocket onto the floor. Owners fault. He had neglected that crucial.. Occasional... Visual check. It happened to the works FLHTC lost drive & we all initially missed the almost smooth drive belt, I think it happened due to the belt being under tensioned, wasted ages assuming it was the gear box as neutral was always a b*stard
  5. No. Belts need nothing aside from an occasional visual check. Absolutely, but you can shred em & then spend ages investigating the clutch, d'oh
  6. I use WD chain cleaner from Aldi & a dry lube usually motul if I can get hold of it. Chain maintenance is crucial unless you have a belt drive
  7. The Bridgestone S22 did alright at Donnington recently, I nearly went for Road 5s but I've done ok on the 023s prior so gave these a go

  16. There is a mini roundabout near me, with 3 junctions occasionally 3 cars turn up all at the same time & then there is a short stand off until someone thinks, feck it & goes
  17. Thanks for all the suggestions folks. I'll be riding into wheelhouse tyres in coleshill & I'm going for the Bridgestone S22s. They'll do nicely for Donnington Park later in the month

  22. Left side is popular so you can use your clutch hand to turn it on etc, but left side is also popular with comms for the same reason One day lids will have integral cams, you read it here 1st
