It's true that Lorica doesn't stretch the same as leather does......but a slightly larger size to allow for thicker socks is a good idea......

They'll wear in soon enough when you start using them on the bike...... Mine are still quite snug.......and are definitely not for walking around in for too long.......but they are pretty solid boots and are wearing pretty good for 4 years old now...... As I said previously, they're not the most waterproof boots.......not bad, but not up to Goretex standards......

Have you found them to be waterproof in that time? They were waterproof......but these days they're not so good........but I've got some Sealskinz socks to wear underneath now...... If you want proper waterproof you'd need to look at Goretex ones......

I've got Sidi Black Rain Evo's......but they're a few years old now........but the guys are right.....you need room in the boot if you're gonna be tucking jeans in.......nothing worse than riding with a crease digging into your shin or calf.......

Might be picking up Rant Machine from Cambridge mate......so, if you fancy meeting somewhere near Wyboston and then heading over that way? Then we could probably run down Phil's route to the meeting place..... -

You'll be welcome on the back of the Speedy for as long as you like Moo.......I've no issue with 2-up riding. Maybe Ollie can come down on the back of my bike, then I could take Moo back up if someone else wouldn't mind giving Ollie some time on the back of their bikes? We'll work something out.......
