Yeah, a tight jacket can be really uncomfortable after a while on the bike........ As Shorty says, try some jackets from other manufacturers if you can to see if their fit is better......

Yeah......just pointing out some things to consider mate........shielding the window to stop the glare on the holder with one hand while riding isn't great.......

My dad passed away last year at 83 years old......but right to the end the grandkids used to bring their b*ggered up laptops to him for repair!! He had more laptops and pc's that he had repaired or was repairing than you could shake a stick at........he had a couple of Raspberry PI's that he tinkered with......programmed PIC chips for various electronic projects he was building or had built.......knew the best antivirus programmes available.......had a subscription to Computer Active........ mates less than half his age would phone up or pop round for help with their computers.......the tablet I'm typing this on was one of his recommendations........much more than just a silver surfer...... My mum on the other hand is the complete opposite......

I've got a Givi velcro'd holder somewhere.......trouble is that it steamed up in rain, so I couldn't see the screen......the clear plastic window is a bit too reflective also.......so I gave up with it and got the hard case I've got on the bike now, which has an antiglare window and less airgap to reduce the steaming up......

Using some paint restorer on the plastics might bring them back up........I used Autoglym paint restorer on one of my bikes and it came back up ok. You'd need high temp paint on the engine......and if your engine is black you've got plenty of choice.......PJ1 or Simoniz engine paint should do the trick...... Use a rubhing block or similar on the top yoke and then clear laquer it when it's all shiny to protect the finish...... Find out the size of the corroded bolts and replace them with some Stainless steel ones......

Welcome to TMBF mate.......pop over to the newbies section and introduce yourself to the gang when you can...... How much was the overbore?....did it need an oversize piston? Also check your valve timing and clearances as you'll lose compression if the valves aren't seating fully.......and make sure the head gasket is ok too.....

There are some places where it's illegal to wash a vehicle on the street........so, the reason for these things........

Was the battery on a trickle charger or a battery conditioner?.........if it was on a trickle charger the chances are it's gone dry or you've lost a cell or 2. Check the voltage of the battery off load and on load........if the voltage collapses under load you know the battery is shagged......
