  1. Well I am sick of bills and wondered what was the one that got you I cant quite choose between tv license or car insurance....but Ive voted with my feet lol and sold my car so it will have to be tv license £145 for about 4hrs a week if I can be bothered!!!!
  2. Sorry to hear about your cat My cat got run over last week and its so sad so I know how you feel. I was so pissed off with myself as I went out looking but my head torch beam stopped just short of where she was and I didnt walk up the hill - poor kids had to see her on the way to school and I had to get her off the road on the way back Mind you at least she went out enjoying life to the full, she was hunting down every bird, mouse and shrew she could find!
  3. dont you have an overdraft? if not just get the bank to do you one and that will be fine to tide you over
  4. Im sick of owning my car as it just seems to make us all want to drive when we could walk... If I got rid of it I would save a minimum of £875 a year but just cant decide if its going to make me feel stressed and isolated or more healthy and liberated! Could probably do without one for another 10yrs - £8750 thats a new bike lol hmmm still dunno
  5. Ive got both but get stuck in the car being a school bus service But having just got my own personal bus stop installed I may get shot of the car altogether! Just need to decide whether it will be a bad idea or not
  6. Do you get a free white stick then if they balls it up
  7. Yep lol just dont be doing over 60mph near me
  8. Totally understand where you are coming from, dont let it bother you I must say I have always thought ride outs didnt work so well as all to often you dont know the other riders well enough to tell what they are going to do next. I prefer to ride to meets and then go my own way afterwards You really notice the race mentality when you change bikes and it was one of the main reasons I dont want a sports again as you just get hassle to race everything that crosses your path. I dont like that at all but my hubby cant help himself and I then just have to hope hes not in the next bend wall coz hes showing off! Not that I am saying I have never done it but its totally pissing me off now that I cant walk up the road without thinking this is what will be heading our way in the summertime from both cars and bikes!
  9. I know its sad but was reading this thinking ffs http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/artic ... es-be.html and then read the best rated comments it was this one - Do these airbrushes have a gale force setting? - Only , Joking, 11/10/2011 8:07 still chuckling now
  10. Ahhr I get it, they are just too darn healthy lol no beer swilling and bellies to match Telt thee theres some hot ones on racers go past my house, and its in slow mo coz the hills so steep Mmmmm
  11. Never heard of such a ridiculous idea! If you have to make folk have insurance for bicycles then fine but make a system where you are insured for being mobile on whatever number of wheels you choose. Its always pi$$ed me off no end that I cant have one policy to cover me for the cars/bikes I own or have access to at the time. I can only use one at a time in any case As a die hard cyclist I was on the recieving end of that much abuse that I just used to mark any damage I did as another score against knob head motorists. I only think its a shame that we are all road users and every cyclist probably has a car and may even have a motorbike so why all the unnecessary aggression. I must say tho I never counted bikers as people who disliked cyclists so much? I thought we were all in the two wheel trap together.
  12. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Plastic-Bag-/120790880991?pt=UK_Packaging_Materials&hash=item1c1fb292df lol
  13. Same, got a cupboard full of them to use haha. Its surprising how often they come in handy though. Good for doing stuff on the bike too, take a bag out to put the rubbish in, or if I go anywhere, I usually take a water bottle and wrap it in a plastic bag to stop other stuff getting wet etc etc Well we did too but thats the point, you dont need bin bags just hose the bin out and save the plastic, Would you have a cupboard full if they cost 5p each? I know I wouldnt. I will be happily going back to how I used to be with trusty berghaus and only wish I could have got penny pinching hubby to be this way sooner
  14. Its got to be a good thing in the long run as its the only way to stop people just using them because they are there - free. Just annoyed that I read all the £ went to charity which would have been good but now I have just read that its up to the retailer. I used to do my weekly shopping on my bicycle in a 80lt rucksack and it was a fair run so Im not gonna moan about putting it in boxes in the boot. Should certainly work here as I didnt see anyone using carriers on Friday when I went shopping.
  15. Its not that she wants to hide, she is very confident. My other cat is about 11 and totally passive so I am feeling really mean when this new one sees her and just flys at her. Have any of you used Feliway its mentioned on the web but dont know how good it might be
  16. Ive got a dog lol who gets equally terrorised Thing is this cat is so affectionate to us but just seems to hate the presence of other animals. She sits on my shoulders like a big scarf and cuddles my cheeks! I think I will try a diffuser thingy and see if getting her interested in the great outdoors vents some of her energy so she doesnt murder the other cat.
  17. What an interesting write up I had an XL well had a few actually as its the only dirt bike I fit on lol You know their just too gorgeous bet you get one next
  18. Hey there, I recently adopted a cat from a woman who couldnt keep her. She had recently had kittens and was originally a young girls cat who kept her in a flat but had been told she couldnt have pets. Anyway the woman said she was being really aggressive towards her cats but it was just because of the kittens so I figured it would be fine when she had forgot about them and lost her milk etc. But I dont know if this cat is ever going to be friendly, She literally runs into windows at the sight of my old cat and goes mental Im getting her spayed next week but has anyone ever had a problem like this and got over it?
