Then there's water based lubricants like KY Jelly. This is mostly used by bikers sporting a moustache and no beard and wearing tassled jackets. It's quite expensive so two guys generally share a tube.

just a heads up that a fuel strike is on, I work at a filling station and our tanker deliveries have been cancelled for this week, two garages close to me have run out of diesel.

the strike is meant to last a week and it has been passed down from our head office that it could be the same as the one about ten years ago with everyone panic buying etc.

lots of wagon drivers filling up to the brim this morning along with taxi's. they are taking no chances.

it is only conoco drivers striking at the moment which will affect all jet and texaco garages but there is likely to be a knock on affect which could bugger it up for other stations.

on the plus side we always keep around 1000 litres on reserve for staff during shortages so I'll be ok
