    Rear drum adjustment.

I'm no mechanic and its been years since I had a bike with a drum brake but from what I can remember you need to do as follows:- You've probably adjusted it already by using the nut that the blue arrow is pointing too. You could try moving the arm around the spline (sorry I have no idea what they are called). Its the bit that the red arrow is pointing too. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee259/Voodoo1972/drum.jpg Hope this helps!

Sorry, haven't been on for ages, this might help if you need a manual:- http://www.bethman.net/r1forum/manuals.html
  4. That does not sound good!
  5. I've got one of those Optimate III chargers thats surposed to check your battery, and if it needs it trickle charge it. Anyway years ago my battery knackered so I bought a new one and left it plugged in to the Optimate for about 12months. I only used the bike about 5-10 times that particular year. By the end of the year the battery was completely goosed. Since then I haven't bothered with any charger and my bike battery is now about 5-6 years old and works perfectly. Next time I have a dead battery I'm just gonna buy a new one instead of messin about trying to charge it, personally I don't think these fancy chargers are as good as they say.

If its a later model, I'd have thought there would probably be differences.

Bet none of ya can beat this though, I crashed my bike into my car and messed them both up at the same time. Maybe I should have put a claim in!

    Road Kill?

I've hit quite a few rabbits, hedgehogs, birds and even a sheep once. Basically I hit virtually everything I aim for!
  14. Don't listen to Drew, his hammer's not big enough, try this one http://www.hammermuseum.org/images/big_hammer.jpg[/url]
  15. Stu's idea is best if you've got the tools, another alternative would be to file a couple of flat surface's on the nut and find a spanner that'll fit. Personally if was me though, I'd do as Drewster does, let someone else have the hassle, especially if you need a new tyre anyway.
