As long as it's reliable & pulls well, I'm not fussed, All engines have for or against depends on what you want them to do, But i had a Guzzi and was not keen on the sideways lurch when blipping the throttle while standing at lights or a junction,,, swopped it for the Bandit

Hi TC, Old Fa*t indeed were's your manners kid,,,, Thanks for the pm & info Not sure about the C & F but give me an idea on time for the Ponderosa & if things work out will try to meet up there

Agree with nigelf, After you try to start are the plugs wet or dry? if dry go for the carbs, green fuel dries up & blocks jets with a residue like green glass & just as hard,

Thanks DTJ Just had a quick look, seems interesting & noticed leather & hard bags, so put to favoritest to study later. Triumph panniers just dont ring the bell. Thanks again for info
-
Thanks for the reply Mr N Did try them when I first found the bags, they have a selection of brackets for main stream bikes, but none for Triumph models. I know Givi do a hard set for the Bonnie, But I think the leather looks better, looks like it might be suck it & see, get Triumph Brkts + the Leather panniers & if it works but if it don't money down the drain,,,,, Ho Humm

I've asked this question at a number of places with no luck, I'm after fitting leather panniers to my Bonnie somthing like these http://www.getgeared.co.uk/acatalog/Iro ... _Bags.html I can get the Triumph brackets, but not sure if the two will marry together Get Geard only supply panniers no brackets for Triumph Need to know b4 I spend the dough

Hi Kwack Sorry only just read your query, it was only on Sun Morn I made my mind up, but yes gave it a go. For a first time event there was a good turn out, maybe about 80 bikes. Had a chat with one of the organiser(Rotary) said they were all dead chuffed with the turn out & will do the same next year. Did you go ??? If so what did you think??? It was the first mass ride out for me, enjoyed it , good stuff,
