  1. I agree to a certain extent - don't spend too much money on a 125. However a known make/model will have a good sell-on value. You can often get back what you pay for it!
  2. Wasn't aware of an addition??? Please tell more.....!!
  3. I think most people will tell you that where you'll notice any lack of power is at the top end, don't think you'll notice it lacking overtaking at those speeds.
  4. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised!!
  5. Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you thinking a restricted 600 won't be any faster than your 125???
  6. There are an awful lot of questions in that post!! You must've been doing a lot of thinking!! Not trying to duck out of answering but try using the search facility on the forum - I'm pretty certain that many of the questions you've asked have been asked before!
  7. Good for you! Thats a step in the right direction! I'm the opposite - ok with that side of things, just go to bits on the test!!!
  8. Just sent Gubba a PM - I've got 2for1 vouchers you can have!!
  9. Well done!!!!
  10. My personal taste is that people can look silly sometimes if they co-ordinate their gear too closely with their bikes - like posing power rangers!! Have to say, I go for black then it doesn't matter what colour bike you have!
  11. Rennie has a Shark helmet, and his one before was Shark too. He likes them!!
  12. Unfortunately, in my experience, there is less choice for us ladies in the lower end of the price range!
  13. I know I'm a girlie but yes, in my experience bike clothing sizes are strange & don't seems to bear any relation to normal clothing sizes!!
  14. Just remember, if you use a disc lock, to take it off before you move the bike! Some people have forgotten & damaged the disc!! You can get some sort of fluorescent-coloured plastic flexi cord that can be attached to the disc lock & hooked around bars/brake lever/clutch lever to remind you that the lock is there!
  15. I may be wrong, but I think even the best textile trousers will leak somewhere in such heavy rain! It might be worth getting some of the lightweight waterproof overtrousers/jacket or you can get an all-in-one waterproof oversuit.
  16. Just found something called 'Tear Mender' in the Kleeneze catalogue (I'm only a distributor ffs! ) - says it repairs fabric & leather in 3 mins and that it's permanent and will not wash out, suitable for indoor/outdoor use. £9.00 for a 60ml bottle & you only need a small dab of it apparently. Can't buy online I'm afraid but if you go to the Kleeneze website you can ask for an agent to bring you a catalogue. Not much use me getting it for you cos it'd cost too much to post!
  17. Just a tip for you - the fright nights at Thorpe Park can get pretty busy!!
  18. Good news Dale!!
  19. Oh right - we'll have to see if they're on anywhere near here. There are a lot of good local bands that do the circuits. Have you heard a guy called Simon Lees?? Brilliant!! Lol, forgot about the campervan!! Doh!!
