sparkeh9
Can anyone tell me, off hand, the diameter for the rear axle bolt on a bandit GSF600? Gonna give it a bit of a service. No smarmy comments about measuring it please , I would if I were there to measure it Ive read online that it's 36mm, 32mm, 22mm, 24mm.......That's a big range of answers from various places, And I need to get a spanner or deep impact socket big enough to get it off. bullet5
Seen as my bandits still in bits i've just nipped out to check for yourself, the rear axle diameter is 20mm, with a 22mm nut moulded to it and a 24mm nut on the other end. hope this helps. Best thing for these would be a specialised torque wrench as you can then bolt the rear end up correctly, without the worry of it slipping when greeted with a lot of your right wrist - We've got the tools if you only need them for a hour or so.... not certian if parents would be too happy, but im sure they'll come around. sparkeh9
probably better to go round to your house and use them instead then lol
NC24
There are different sizes depending on the year of your bike. If it's pre-2004 it will most likely be the smaller 22mm/24mm option.
bullet5
As long as your not intending to steal or break into my garage I dont see tooo bigger problemo - oh and NC24, it's a 1999 reg like mine - I'll ask the parents if your serious about hopping around.
