At 22, I am in need of my first torque wrench =) just curious if you guys have any recommendations? I don't mind spending decent money for a torque wrench that won't conk out but I'm not exactly wanting to pay "snap-on" money. I know halfords do a supposed decent one, 8-60 Nm but is it worth £69.99??

Cheers

I spent 15quid on mine about 3 1/2 years ago and its still going strong. I've just full suspension on 3 cars with it, numerous brakes, motorbikes etc. Cant complain at that. Got it off ebay :)

I purchased a good torque wrench......in nm, then when I went to use it the manual gave lbs settings.......darnation. Had to find a conversion table. I believe you can get them with both readings on them, they might be the best bet.......you never know when you might come across an item you decide to work on and the manual gives lbs. Just a thought
