mackemforever
Now I apologise for asking stupid questions but I'm a newbie when it comes to doing any work on bikes.I'm currently doing up my old Varadero 125 so it will actually pass an MOT and I can sell the bugger and I've run into a lack of knowledge!I've removed the brake callipers, stripped them right down, cleaned them and replaced the brake pads, but now that I've come to putting them back on the bike I realised that I have no idea how I'd go about bleeding the system after I've replaced the brake fluid.Would somebody please be able to give me some guidance as to how I would go about doing that.Thanks. I've had a google but can't find anything about it. I would have a close look at the bike to see if its got 2 brake fluid resevoirs but the bike is in Bristol and I'm in Lancaster right now! rennie
I'm 99% sure they're not linked!tends to be the bigger bikes pan european/blackbird/ vfr.Yours is only a single caliper on the front?Really easy to do!
griff488
Has the bike got ABS? If so theres a chance they'll be linked
Stu
There not linked you will have a single line running to the caliper pretty easy to bleed You want an assistant to make life easy
mackemforever
Ok, I just thought I should check about the linking as I know the Varadero 1000 has linked brakes.
