hay everyone right i cant figure out why it takes so long to start my 1990 tzr125. (kick start)

* new spark plug

* fuel on

* ignition on

* adjust choke to weather conditions

* it take anywhere from 2mins to 15mins sometimes to start up

i am completely out of ideas on how to correct this problem so any ideas or theorys would be really welcome

thanks scott

Did it start alright before the new plug. If you still have it, clean up old plug with wire brush, heat spark section on cookery burner, screw in and start. If no start , checking plug wet, if not, check carb, give it a good clean especially jets float valve seat. If wet, check spark is good, if good check air filter not blocked. Good luck.
