i have recently had to resolder some contacts on the wiring loom on a cg 125 china copy, jobs been done to perfection.

the problem is no ive re connected all the wires (right way round i think),but now i press the bake pedal or brake lever the rear right indicator activates as a brake light and my tail light goes off.

for the life of me i have checked all the wiring over and over, and cant see the issue.

anyone help at all would be great incase im missing something

Yep...classic bad earthing problem. Current can't get to ground through the correct route, so finds and alternate route: ie through indicator.

Worst comes to the worst, run a wire from the metalwork on the light assy to a point nearby on the frame.

Electricity from the battery goes out through the wires and returns through the frame. (earth). Put a meter on low range resistance to the feed side of the component and to the frame. (Bare metal) You should read the resistance of the bulb.
