I am getting some marketing emails that offer the option of buying tyres online eg: Pirelli Diablo Strada at £140 for a pair.If I buy them online I have then got to get them on my bike which means getting the bike and the tyres to a garage to put them on, seems a bit of hassle as I will either have to get a friend to follow me in the car to do this. Plus how much would a dealer charge?The easy alt would be to just go to a dealer and but their tyres and get them to put them on. has anyone bought tyres online?Is it much cheaper?Any advice welcome.Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also balancing is important.....again the right equipment is needed.There are online tyre suppliers who have a search engine for local fitters who will put the tyres on for you (at a cost.....usually around £10 a tyre for loose wheels)I took my bike to a local bike shop....got the tyres fitted and balanced and the old tyre disposed of for not a lot more than I'd seen the tyre I wanted advertised on the web.
