gav00
Hi everyone!Quick and easy question for someone.... Are engine crash bungs/bobbins different depending on which side of the bike they are for? Ie. does one side have a slightly longer bolt than the other? Thanks
Guest Hodgy
Depends on the bike, on my gsxf they are both identical, but on my ZZR600 they were different, sorry that don't really help does it?
megawatt
My R&Gs are longer on one side, because the distance from the bolt hole, straight out to the outside edge of the engine cover is more on one side than the other. Check the length of the bung and spacer and if one bolt is longe,r use it with the longer bung and spacer. If you get it wrong, you could crack your main engine casting!!! Tango
Yeah...my R&G's are longer on one side than the other.....was pretty obvious which way round they went as the short one wouldn't reach the engine mount on one side.....
