So then it's all within 30(ish) mph and road rash won't be an issue. I think it was some kind of a protest thing which happens every year. And then there's the soft tissue damage that she's only just recovering from! 30mph is certainly no laughing matter.And I've had nerve damage in my right arm since my late teens after a pushbike accident at summat like 10mph, so you won't catch me riding anything without trousers and long sleeves! I was lucky to not have grated my skin on the road, only bruised it - but it was enough to learn that flying off a bike at 30 is not a laughing matter. Still, I meant that the kind of road rash you would risk at 30 surely is less of an issue than what would happen at, say, 80.
